My aunt has macular degeneration and requires shots. When she was first receiving these shots it was about every six weeks and they were thousands of dollars. The shots helped her maintain her vision for longer and lead a more productive life. Being on a fixed income and 92 years old she was worried how she would pay for it since she was on a fixed income.
