Please accept my sincere gratitude for all the financial assistance you had provided for me in the past. It helped me be able to enjoy seeing God's creative works with joy, as I await the time when all sickness will be gone forever. Thank you so much.
I was approved by Good Days in November 2024 for the year 2025 to receive my eye injections. I called in January to confirm with my doctor that Good Days would cover my treatments and they assured me that I was covered.
I had two injections in February (one in each eye) and thought my deductible of $450 each would be covered by Good Days. A month later I was blindsided when I was informed that Good Days did not have the funds to cover this amount.
There was NO COMMUNICATION from Good Days about this. Not by mail. Not by email. Not by text. Not by phone. This is DEVASTATING to discover that now I am financially responsible for $900 for these injections that I would NEVER consented to because that is 75 PERCENT of my monthly Social Security check.
Now I am not able to pay for my insulin and groceries and utilities!!!!
I have had to cancel ALL my future appointments to receive treatment.
This is totally UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Many patients would not be able to pay for their life-sustaining medications if it weren't for Good Days' financial support. The Good Days staff is kind, compassionate and takes care of the communities they serve. Hearing the stories from patients they have assisted constantly moves me.
My name is Aarya, and I heard of Good Days from a friend of mine and found out what they do, and I appreciate their efforts in our community!
Hello my name is Dee Burks. When I was diagnosed with Cancer I found out how much my prescription would cost and I knew I couldn't afford it so I start searching online for charity, nonprofit foundations, organizations etc. and I found Good Days. Good Days was the first to help me obtain my prescription for free. As far as I'm concerned Good Days helped extend my life and is my shiny star!
My name is Kevyn and I have a diagnosis of polycythemia vera. The polycythemia is controlled by Jakafi, a medication that I cannot afford. There are no other medications that I can physically tolerate for this diagnosis. The funding that I have received from the Good Days Assistance Program has been absolutely necessary for my wellbeing. The funding not only helped with the purchase of the Jakafi, but it also provided an emotional benefit as well, by relieving the stress, anxiety, and worry surrounding the cost of the medication. The Good Days Assistance Program is an amazing organization; their telephone enrollment/online re-enrollment process is clear and concise. Any direct contact with staff has always been professional, respectful, and kind. The world is at times a cruel and heartless place, but the Good Days Assistance Program is a beacon of light and hope.
I was blessed for 5 years to get financial assistance from Good Days. I understand we’re not as lucky this year, it’s a struggle paying for Vabysmo for my Macular Degeneration. I can’t be upset, I know if money becomes available they will run to aid us. At this point I just want to thank you for the years you helped me. THANK YOU!
A friend of mine told me about Good Days, and I am so grateful for the life-saving assistance they provide to those in need. As someone who has first-hand experience with how devastating medical conditions can be not just personally but financially, I know how necessary it is for organizations like Good Days to exist. Thank you so much for taking care of those who need it the most!
I heard about this organization through a coworker and started researching what services it provides. I am grateful to Good Days for providing the financial assistance required for so many people to have access to the healthcare resources necessary for treatment when they need it the most! Keep up the good work!
I came for the good days, and wow, I stayed for the great ones! If you're looking for a nonprofit that manages to combine kindness, efficiency, and the power to make you believe humanity might just be okay after all—this is it. Good Days takes the stress out of affording critical medical care and replaces it with hope, help, and probably some very nice phone calls. Five stars, would absolutely recommend to friends, family, and random strangers at the grocery store. Keep up the amazing work, Good Days—you truly live up to your name!
I heard of good things from a friend of mine and found out what they do and I appreciate their efforts in our community. There need to be more organizations that help with expenses of life-altering conditions that medical insurance doesn't cover.
I have been involved with Good Days for over 13 years. Their purpose is to assist patients with Wet Macular Generation. A serious disease that will cause you to lose your vision over time. Good Days helps with financial needs of patients who will continue with the shots for many years, I'm going on 14 years in one eye and 5 years with the other eye. As you can imagine the shots are very expensive and you need to take them on a regular schedule. If I had not had the help from Good Days, I would probably be blind by now.
It has been wonderful to partner with them. The application process is simple! I'm very thankful for Good Days Foundation.
As a proud member of the Good Days team, I can confidently say that this organization is not just a workplace-it is a community dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those we serve. Every day, I have the privilege of assisting our clients with their enrollments, guiding them through the process, and ensuring they receive the support they need.
What sets Good Days apart is our unwavering commitment to our mission. We strive to provide hope and assistance to individuals facing health-related financial challenges. Knowing that my work directly impacts the lives of people in need brings me immense satisfaction and joy.
The supportive environment and enthusiastic team make coming to work each day a fulfilling experience. Together, we celebrate every success, no matter how small, because we understand the significance of each step forward for our clients.
I have the opportunity to be a part of Good Days every day. I see the effort they put into meeting the needs of those who struggle with receiving the care they need to live their lives to the fullest. Whether it is for medication for their sight, treatment for their child or chemotherapy to fight cancer, Good Days is there to step in and meet the need.
This is a truly compassionate organization. Not only do they voice their concern about their clients having to choose between necessities and life changing care; they put their effort and energy behind that mission to meet the need of thousands of patients.
I’m grateful to be a part and to hear the stories from patients whose lives have been changed. To hear them say, "I would not be here" or "I would be blind without your help" does something to your heart.
They truly are determined to make sure that their clients have more good days.
Good Days is a home and every care navigator, donor, client, and supporter is apart of the family. I am so grateful I can be apart of this family, the reward in helping people every single day brings me so much joy! We see the letters and hear the stories about what a difference Good Days has made in peoples lives. Those stories motivate us here at Good Days, they are reminders of why we are here!
I am so blessed to be a part of Good Days. Every day I get the privilege of helping those in need find financial assistance through our copay assistance programs. It is heart breaking to hear the deep needs and because of this it is important to keep my own well topped off so that I have more to give those I serve. Everyone from the top down to the coworker next to me helps me with that through kind words, genuine care and concern and supportive, knowledge, teaching and assistance. It truly makes coming to work something to look forward to every day.
I would literally be dead if it weren't for Good Day's and all of their help regarding my life saving medication. I have nothing but great things to say about them. It sounds sappy but when I think about what they've done for me, this older man gets very emotional. No way on earth could I ever repay them for all they do and have done for me. Thanks for letting me vent my feelings. Sincerely, JGFK.
I am grateful for Good Days, without your assistance I would be blind by now. Continued gratitude for all you do.
I sincerely thank you for the help you are giving me for the cost of my shots in my eye. I don't know how I would have paid for them. I have to thank you and God.
Thank you so much for accepting me into your financial assistance program. I am very grateful for your generosity. Blessing to you.
Through all the ups and downs, I know that Good Days will be there to take care of me and my family. I know that if I call, I will be able to speak to somebody who will be able to help me with kindness and understanding.
I am eternally grateful for helping to provide the shots for my eyes. I have a black ball in the middle of one eye, but the doctor has been able to keep the other one working. You have a great charity, please thank everyone, you will be in my prayers.
My son has worked for Good Days for over 10 years now. I never tire of hearing about all the help and support they are bringing to people. I have given many people their information to see if they can help, or at least point them to where there is help. I have had the pleasure of meeting several people that work at Good Days, and attend a few of their events with my son. Everyone there has such a big heart to help!
I have known about Good Days for over 10 years and recommended several family and friends and they have always taken care of them. The reps on the phone are super helpful and passionate about what they do.
Effective compassion is the perfect way to describe how Good Days far exceeds expectations as a nonprofit organization. They serve in so many ways to ease the impact of living with chronic or rare illnesses -- from what would otherwise be devastating financial burdens, to prevention and education through Chronic Disease Day and Empowered Us initiatives, to working to inform and mobilize legislative support at local and federal levels. And no less importantly, Good Days delivers critical help with awareness and compassion for the dignity, empowerment, and well being of those they assist. They are a model for best practices as an organization, and how we care for our fellow human beings in our everyday lives.
Good Days is a phenomenal nonprofit organization. They help lead on important issues such as fighting Chronic Disease in the United States by creating Chronic Disease Day/Week. Good Days works to make peoples' lives better by reducing the burden of financial stress. Good Days is always searching for additional avenues to help Americans. I am proud to be associated with Good Days and Chronic Disease Day.
I am honored to serve as an advisor to Good Days. Every member of the team is unwaveringly dedicated to supporting patients. It’s inspiring to witness their commitment to the well-being of patients, navigating them through complex healthcare situations, and ensuring they receive the life-saving support and resources they need. The passionate team consistently goes above and beyond to make a meaningful impact for each person that calls them, creating a beacon of hope for countless individuals. I am glad to know and work for the leadership of this organization.
The assistance programs provided by Good Days help hundreds of thousands of individuals access treatments that make their lives richer, longer and more productive. I am proud to work with this organization and to play any role in the incredible work they do.
My mother receives assistance from Good Days to support her ongoing treatment for MD - without this support her eyesight could be lost forever.
My aunt has macular degeneration and requires shots. When she was first receiving these shots it was about every six weeks and they were thousands of dollars. The shots helped her maintain her vision for longer and lead a more productive life. Being on a fixed income and 92 years old she was worried how she would pay for it since she was on a fixed income. Her doctor recommended Good Days and from the beginning with Samantha Capobainco's help and guidance my aunt has one less thing to worry about. It is easy to sign up and Good Days sends a reminder each year to sign up again. We cannot thank them enough for helping us and my aunt ease the burden of this very expensive treatment.
As a medical professional I am honored to work with this organization. I know when I refer patients to Good Days they're going to be met with professionalism and compassionate care. This non-profit is a blessing and I'm often told by patients they are more than happy with the assistance they provide. Thank you, Good Days!
This is one of the Best non profits out here! They care for the patients! You can check? Majority of monies go to patient care! They should be a model for all successful businesses! Their employees are the most caring people on this earth!
I really appreciate Good Days' willingness to work with providers' offices and patients to find solutions for financial assistance needs.
I lost vision in right eye due to macular degeneration several years ago. I had been watching for it as my mother lost her vision.
I started a series of injections and was able to get my eyesight back, although there is a few blurry spots. I was put on a stronger injection to keep it in check, then problem developed in left eye. I started receiving injections in left eye.
All this time, I was unaware of Good Days paying my copays, which were hundreds of dollars. I found out when the billing office said they needed financial information for the foundation that has been paying for my injections. I was flabbergasted as I had no idea there are people helping others as this.
I am so grateful to have Good Days helping me keep my eyesight. I have fairly good insurance, but still would have struggled to keep my sight. I would probably have to spread injections out or cut back somewhere.
A few weeks ago, I had another flareup, the worst it has been. I was given a relatively new stronger injection which reduced problem in a few weeks. There was discussion at the time about the cost of this new medication. I contacted Good Days and spoke with Jackie who reassured me it was covered. What a relief!
Because of Good Days, I have my vision!! It's not perfect, but almost 20/20 some of the time. I feel very fortunate and blessed!
Thank you, Good Days

I was ever so fortunate to be accepted by the Good Days Organisation in 2019 when I needed financial aid in paying my by-monthly doctor bills of several thousands of dollars each. Enrolling, re-enrolling, was ever so easy and I was accepted year after year. When talking to their very helpful staff I never felt as though I was begging for a handout.
What a wonderful Organisation, everyone involved in helping people in need and so easing ones worrying health situation. Good Days eased that heavy cloud over my head year after year.
As I am leaving the US I don’t not want to miss to give you my heartfelt Thank You all.

I am so thankful for Good Days and the wonderful work they do. I have wet AMD and need expensive injections to keep the vision in my affected eye stable. Without their help, I would be unable to afford the cost of this medication. I had the pleasure of speaking with several of the foundation’s dedicated Care Navigators, and was so impressed with their compassion and willingness to do whatever it takes to solve a patient concern. Thank you Good Days!
MyGoodDays has provided me with Specialist Care for my macular edema that I would NEVER have been able to afford without your help! You've given me back my eyesight!
Your staff, your enrollment process, your website, do EVERYTHING in the service of the PATIENT, and NOTHING to toot your own horn, so I'm going to toot it for you!
You are a magnificent, sublimely worthy organization that I pray continues with its good works! I hope and pray that your every contributor becomes truly cognizant of, and acknowledged for, the goodness and grace of their impact upon those living in pain, in the real world, where so many suffer.
Thank you ALL, you have given me an enormous gift just by existing!
Without the financial assistance provided by Good Days, so many elderly patients would not be able to afford their life sustaining medications. The Good Days team is kind and compassionate and I am always touched by hearing the testimonials of the patients they have helped.
Really take care of the patients and communities they serve. They are the epitome of what a non-profit is all about in providing lifesaving resources to those in need.
I am so grateful for the support that this organization provides for my patients. They truly are passionate about the care that they deliver and are always looking for more ways to make an impact. Thank you for all you do to help support patients who face overwhelming healthcare costs.
Good Days is extremely easy to use as a health care provider and for my patients. Good Days support is provided by a human and not a robot. Application process is very easy and straight forward with clear benefit and expiration information.
When I was diagnosed with Macular Degeneration my sister in law and her husband were receiving help from Good Days. They suggested that I should complete an application to see if I could get help. I completed an application and was approved. I have been receiving help since November of 2015 from Good Days. I can't explain in words how thankful I am for the many Good Days I've received from their help. They have helped this WWII Veteran more than I can explain. Thank God for Good Days.

Good Days literally saved my friend’s life. Without the help and compassion from the folks at Good Days, a decent, hardworking man would have been without the critical assistance to maintain his life saving drug therapy. Thank you, Good Days.
I’ve seen GoodDays make an amazing impact by helping those that need it the most. We are called to love and honor our elderly population and those that can’t afford. I’m very proud to know and be affiliated with GoodDays. Great organization with a heart to purely help.
I have been on your Assistance Program for HIV for two years now and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the generous and compassionate work that you do. Your assistance is a life-saving gift that I if I did not have, I would probably be homeless and very sick. My quality of life has improved dramatically as a result of your generous assistance, and I am truly grateful and thankful for all the work that you do to help people. Please know that a day doesn’t go by that I do not think about and appreciate your organization and I have spread the word of the good work that you do. Thank you again for everything and have a wonderful day!
Good Days goes above and beyond to help those affected by a chronic illness or life-altering disease live without financial hardship brought on by the treatment of their illness. The people behind this organization truly care about those they serve and do everything in their power to ease the burden of illness within the chronic disease community. Even if they can't help financially to cover the cost of treatment, travel, diagnostic testing or premium assistance, they take the time to look into and recommend other advocacy groups who can help. The help and compassion they give to thousands of individuals every year is priceless, I don't know what so many would do without Good Days!
Gooddays has change our lives. Our son has a rare, neuromuscular disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy. The day my son was facing one of the hardest days- diagnosis day- good days partnered with our family to bring hope and peace of mind. They have paid for our 5 hour trips to the specialist appointments and monthly insurance premiums allowing Judah to have medical equipment and advancements we would not have experienced. Recently they lavished our family-especially our special Judah- to a weekend conference. They ensured we had an incredible get away while making us feel like royalty. Truly this organization has impacted our lives forever and we are eternally grateful! Praying an abundant blessing over the staff. They have loved us and truly cared.
When my son Frankie was battling Leukemia as a Fire Fighter, Good days was the only non-profit that came through with help for him to live in the area of the hospital and to get to and from treatments. Even though my son passed in 2018, Good days continues to help our family. My mom needs medical attention often with an eye condition that needs treatment, so she doesn't go blind, and Good Days is there to help each and every time. Without Good Days Non-Profit we don't know what we would have done. We cannot thank them enough. I have attached a photo of my son Frankie with my mom and dad. Without Good days those smiles would have been hard. My son is gone, but my mom is still able to see at 88 years old all thanks to Good Days. ❤
I have to admit that I never conceived of ever needing help with anything in my life. I was young and strong and , I guess, naive . Many years back, when my parents were still with me my father, a Navy Vet of WW2 started having trouble with his eyes. Like me he was a very independent person but soon it was evident that he needed medical care. I took him to the VA many times but at that time there really was nothing that could be done. I watched him stoically live with it as it gradually got worse and worse. When he passed he was legally blind and it was an awful thing to see. Then, eventually, I started having the same symptoms. First I had cataracts removed and that was a tremendous help. Eventually, though, I was diagnosed with macular degeneration myself and the memory of what my dad went through made me almost wish I would pass from this life before it progressed. I am a musician and an artist and I knew I would no longer be able to read music or paint. Two things pulled me out of that fright though. Not wanting to leave my wife here alone and a Retina Specialist in Orange county, NY that was wonderful. It was he that started the injections of Eylea but when I heard the cost my heart sank yet again. There was no way I could pay that price every two weeks and even when it would hopefully get to once every ten weeks it was really out of reach...if you remember I said "musician" lol. It was also he that introduced me to Good Days and the program they sponsor. I was able to sign up and I have been getting the injections ever since. I was also lucky to have had an instantly positive reaction to this drug. Good Days and it's donors are nothing less than a God-send. I have little doubt that if it wasn't for their help my situation would make me intolerable both to myself and to those around me...I pray almost every night and thank God for this company and their generous donors for this blessing of sight....Best Regards to them and all of you who, like me did, after all, need somebody's help ...Michael Matthew Heaphy
Good Days makes an extraordinary positive difference in the lives of many people! I have heard from so many people that without the assistance from Good Days, they would be unable to get the medication they need. Thanks to Good Days, more people are having good days!!
I've had the pleasure of knowing Good Days for over three years and each year, I'm more impressed with the impact they make on the chronic disease community.
As someone who runs an organization in the chronic disease space, I often send our community members to Good Days, because they are truthfully the organization I trust most. Anyone who knows the Good Days team knows that they deeply care about this community.
I have a chronic immune disorder, the medication for which is in Tier 5 of my Health Insurance Formulary. Thanks to Good Days, I am able to access the medication I need to live a full and anxiety-free life. Every month when I pick-up a refill, I am filled with gratitude that such a resource exists for my well-being.
My wife and I spent twenty six years building a Food Bank network in southwest Florida. We loved our work of helping needy families and it was extremely rewarding in every way except financial security for us. We retired several years ago and were getting by well until I developed wet Macular Degeneration. My doctor tried several drugs with little results. I entered two clinical studies of new drugs because I wouldn't have to pay for my treatments. That lasted two years but nothing changed in my diagnosis. I was told the only drug we hadn't tried was expensive and I stated we just couldn't afford that much every four weeks. My doctor said not to worry because they were applying to Good Days for me and all I had to do was meet certain criteria. I met the criteria and the support from Good Days was make the treatment possible. Now my other eye has gone wet so I'll be getting two injections a month. Without Good Days I would have stopped treatment due to the cost. I'm 78 years old, no longer drive, but I enjoy life with my wife and our family and grandchildren. We are still hoping a new drug will come along to actually stop the progression of AMD but with the help from Good Days I know we are doing our best for now. Thank you Good Days, you are a blessing to our family.
For over a year I had been receiving eye injections to treat wet macular edema in one of my eyes, with little success. When my ophthalmologist suggested a more effective medicine, I was shocked to learn of the steep copay this would cost me. Then his office told me I could apply for Good Days, so I did. The process was easy and I received an answer on the spot. Without the help of Good Days I would have had to forego this more effective treatment.
Good Days has been one of the "bright spots" during this ongoing treatment. I feel a very deep sense of gratitude for not only the financial assistance you have given me but to all other recipients. I would also like to tell you how kind and helpful that your phone staff is as well. The woman who spoke with me a few weeks back could not have been nicer. She represents your mission very well. Until my diagnosis, I had no idea there were organizations that offered help defraying the high cost of medication. Please accept my heartfelt thanks for your continued assistance.
I've had the pleasure of working with the Good Days team for several years, and I continue to admire the care and compassion that drives every member of their staff to work hard on behalf of the thousands who rely on them.
From the individualized support that the Care Navigators provide with warmth and familiarity, to the dedication and leadership of the executive team and Board who strive every year to be innovative and effective and grow so the org can continue to help the millions of people struggling to access care.
I've had a chance to speak to a few patients who are so grateful for the support. It's motivating to partner with an organization that really makes a difference for so many.

Good Days is a safety net for people who find that they medicine or treatment they are prescribed is too costly to afford on their own. Especially during the coronavirus pandemic it is clear we need charities like Good Days to ensure their is a lifeline when people need it most.
Samantha was a big help to me. She very clear in all her explanations. I appreciated all her clear directions and taking her time with me. I never felt like she was rushing me.
I really believe Samantha wanted to help me.
I have been living with HIV/AIDS for over 30 years also because of that I have been battling with depression. When first diagnosed I became a volunteer in the San Diego AIDS Project and I remember hearing horror stories of patients having to choose between eating or paying for their medications never once did I think I could find myself in that situation.
Recently I retired and I thought that I had planned for my retirement as best as I could knowing that I would be on a fixed income.
While at work my insurance paid for my HIV/AIDS medication and my co-pay was $ 50.00.
Now that I have retired and am on Medicare I found out that the medication that was saving my life was going to be $ 1,100.00. (Even though I was also paying for Part D)
According to my Medicare plan the HIV/AIDS medication was a tier 5 “specialty drug.”
To me was a death sentence.
I tried to find get assistance from the pharmaceutical companies, but they said it was not available to people on Medicare!
I tried to work with my doctor but all the medications he recommended were tier 5.
So just as I had heard in the past, I had become one of the horror stories and had to choose between medications or a decent living. I chose not to fill out my medication.
I was very depressed, but I kept on looking and I remembered a representative of one of the drug companies I had called told me about Good Days.
So, I went to their website and filled the application and obtained an immediate approval!
It has changed my outlook for the future.
I will be eternally grateful to Good Days for the assistance they have provided me with.
My Father was urgently in need of visual care, but the cost of injections were too high. He was made aware of good days and the possibility of them covering injection costs. This was extremely important since the eye injection was new on the market and very expensive. Good Days is Wonderful !!! All he paid was the cost for the office visit . My experience with you is an A++++,
In 2014, my precious Dad was diagnosed with melanoma that had metastasized to his brain. The only treatment that was available, was a newly developed and very expensive immunotherapy drug. My family was so excited to learn of this treatment but devastated to learn of the cost. Each shot was literally hundreds of thousands of dollars. My Mom was a teacher and my Dad owned his own business so the treatment was not going to be a feasible option. We are so thankful that the nurse at the doctor’s office suggested she contact Good Days on behalf of my Dad. Good Days stepped up and thanks to them, my Dad was able to receive the first shot of the immunotherapy drug. A few weeks later we found out that the immunotherapy was working but that the whole brain radiation he had received had damaged his brain beyond repair. The outcome for my Dad wasn’t good but Good Days took so much stress and worry off of my family...they gave us hope. I can’t say enough good things about this organization.
I honestly do not even know exactly where to begin with sharing my experience. It’s overwhelming. That’s precisely how their support toward my family feels. It makes me rather speechless. By nature, I am a giver ... so to have to be on the receiving end of assistance of any kind was a humbling experience.
In 2004, our second child was born with an extremely rare, incurable genetic disease called Cystinosis. It was a devastating season. Fast forward to 2016 and our 4th child, Hannah was born... also with Cystinosis.
Caring for our children is certainly a 24 hour a day nursing job. Our oldest with Cystinosis has now received two kidney transplants. They each have g-tubes and receive meds, fluids, feeds, etc. round the clock. It can be mentally, physically, & in every other sense of the word... exhausting.
Worrying about how certain medications, bills, or even health insurance will be paid has always, ALWAYS been a genuine concern. My husband doesn’t work for a company where health insurance is offered. We do very well but again, the financial toll that it takes on a family of not just one but two chronically ill children, can be devastating.
Good Days has literally been nothing short of a miracle for our family. During some very dark, challenging moments these representatives will call and ask what they can do to serve our family. That alone... hearing that caring voice on the other end of the phone... immediately lifts a very heavy burden BECAUSE... I know they’ll actually put their words into actions.
They have tirelessly worked for us; found programs and assistance that was available to our family. Many of them have become my friend. I have often lead an isolated life caring for my children and having them call to ask how I personally was, was many times exactly what my soul needed to continue fighting tirelessly for my children. Their words of encouragement & willingness to help us, pulled us through many obstacles.
We were even on the receiving end of their annual gala in 2018. We’re we’re flown out to Texas to attend the gala as their guests. We were going through such a challenging time as a family and this particular weekend will infinitely be one of the brightest memories we share. We were treated with such love, compassion, & genuine friendship that my children practically felt like a celebrity. To say that we needed that time together, would be a huge understatement.
I could never, ever adequately express my feelings toward Good Days and all of the fine folks that work together to make families like mine a little (or in our case... a lot) less burdened.
I have often said to my husband that I would
enjoy nothing more than to work for Good Days!! That’s exactly how much I believe in the “good” they do!! Good Days lives up to their name... they start by a conversation, a moment... they make the day so very “good.” Then ... if you’re lucky enough like we are... those many days turn into years.
I will forever be grateful for their willingness to assist our family. And if you are a donor reading this... please know... I am ever so grateful for your sacrifice. YOU have changed a life. You’ve lifted a very heavy burden from a mom, dad, siblings & patients who genuinely needed it. You have made a difference in our lives and so many more like us. Thank you just doesn’t even seem like enough....
I never thought I would have to get help in paying a medical bill until my eye developed a big problem, and now I get a Lucentis injection every 4 to 7 weeks,,, and the only Income I have is from Social Security,,, Good Days has been a life saver (well, an EYE SAVER really) so I am really thankful for the great help Good Days give. I just signed up for the 3rd year, as my Doctor told me what I have will not go away,,, so I am always thankful for the help kind hearted people and institutions give to the people who need help, Thank you again Good Days.

Good Days has been an incredible comfort to me since my granddaughter Lauren was diagnosed with ALL leukemia at the age of 29 months old. She was diagnosed on April 29, 2015. I helped my daughter Joanne research organizations to offer assistance. I found GOOD DAYS in my search and mustered up the courage to call them. I couldn't talk and get my words out......I cried and cried and the Good Days representative listened and understood and that's where the comfort began. I have been speaking to this amazing staff monthly for the past 5 years. They truly care!!!! I can feel their happiness for Lauren and Lauren's family now that Lauren has graduated to going for blood work and check ups once every six months. Good Days assisted with travel and expenses related to my granddaughter's treatment and it is so very appreciated. I could count on them to call me. I did not have worry about calling them. They called me faithfully to check in and find out about Lauren's appointments. By far Good Days was and is the BEST organization I have had the pleasure to work with! Thank you Good Days for all you continue to do and have done for us for the past 5 years!!! Lauren is now 7 years old and loves life to the fullest!! We are blessed!! The picture is of sweet Lauren and her Neenie and Papa :)
"Compassion" defines the work of Good Days. A dedicated group of individuals constantly looking to make progress and serve the rare and chronic disease communities.
Good Days has been an incredible asset to myself and my family. They assisted with travel and expenses related to my treatment and made the process so incredibly easy and hassle free. The Good Days staff consistently stays in communication and ensures all my needs are met. Without their help, I would not have been able to receive the treatment I needed. We are forever grateful for Good Days.
Good Days acts as a lifeline for thousands of uninsured Americans with chronic and life-altering conditions. Through offering charitable financial assistance, Good Days ensures patients have access to the critical medicine and care that they need to treat complicated and costly conditions. Its programs bring people hope and a second chance at life.
I have nothing but good things to say about Good Days. They genuinely care about the population they are serving and go out of their way to spread their message. I highly recommend them to anyone who is suffering from a chronic condition and is in need of financial support. As a founder of a chronic illness-focused organization in the For Profit space, I send many of my community members to Good Days and will continue to do so!
I say a prayer to God and to MGD every day in thanks for
what is left of my life in spite of CRVO afectingmy one and only eye.
I can still see well enough to delight in compiling my artworks in several books of
high gloss 8.5 x 11 prints.
This adversity has created a new chapter
in my life as an artist… a chapter focused on reaching people with my
art, as many people as possible knowing that it can bring them pleasure
and fascination.
I din’t realize how great life in Sata Barbara is, how great life in America is,
how great life on planet Earth is, how great it is to live in the twenty first
century until I suddently became visually impaired by CRVO.
But thanks to Dr Couvioune and MyGoodDays I can still see well
enough to delight in the beauty of the world around me.
Thank you.

Wonderful charity---who'd have thought to assist those on Medicare with exorbitant insurance co-pays for certain medications and specified diseases, in our case, swelling on the macular in both eyes. The online application process was straightforward and, well, easy. We're so happy our ophthalmologist told us about mygooddays.
Our co-pays for each eye injection exceeded $600. After 6 injections using another medication and getting limited results, our physician wanted to use Eyelea to see if the condition could be reversed.
Customer assistance, specifically Chelsie, is patient and caring, going beyond our expectations in walking us through the online process--just in case we had an issue, a surprising bright spot in the world of customer service. We have let our physician know about our exceptional experience with mygooddays,
We are so incredibly grateful for this assistance.
I have Myelofibrosis . There is no cure except stem cell transplant. I am 68 and of course the older you are the less chance for a successful transplant.I take a drug called Jakafi. It helps the symptoms,of which I would not be able to function and have a quality of life. The drug costs are in the thousands every month. I am on social security and even though my drug program pays the majority there is an almost $700 a month deductible.Good Days have been so giving and I am so grateful that they have picked up the deductible for me every month! I could not take this drug if it wasn't for Good Days, and my quality of life would be next to none.God brings certain people into this world and I thank Him every day for organizations like Good Days. There is no price on the job you do for those of us, that can't afford these drugs, and would suffer or not live a quality of life.Thank you from my heart.
I am writing because I am so grateful to be in a program where I can get eye shots for my macular degeneration. I just want to express my appreciation. I am an artist, an actor and a huge reader. I cannot imagine not having my sight.
I am including a picture of my art. This is a picture I designed for breast cancer survivors here at the Y...they wrote messages of gratitude upon the completed painting. I am also including my photo.
Again, sincere, thanks.

Good Days is an amazing nonprofit organization that finds a way to help every caller one way or another. If funding is available for a diagnosis, the caller is assisted in the enrollment process right over the phone and can find out in minutes if they are approved for assistance. If the patient is seeking assistance for a diagnosis currently not funded, the Patient Care Representative will assist them in finding other programs that can assist. Something that sets Good Days apart from other programs is the way the Patient Advocates provide exceptional care for each caller. Many patients are taken back by the whole experience because not only are they getting the much needed assistance from Good Days, but they can feel the caring that they receive every step of the way. Good Days is a great no profit for sure.
Good Days supports those with life-altering conditions, anything from chronic to terminal. They do that by helping patients pay for costly treatments insurance won’t cover in their entirety. Not only is Good Days helping chronic disease patients with financial support but they also provide hope for patients by providing alternate avenues for other assistance programs if they are unable to assist. They also provide a listening ear and respond with empathy and understanding.
Good Days is a Nonprofit Organization that helps patients with their cost of copay for their medication. I have now worked for Good Days for 7 years and have experienced how many patients have to go with out their medication due to the cost. Many of our patients call us just to say Thank you, If it was not for Good days, they would have not be able to afford their medication. Not only do we help with copay's, we also offer additional financial help, emotional support and if we are unable to help the patient we do try to find them help with other organizations.
Good Days has been such a lifesaver for thousands of patients. We go above and beyond for every single one of our patient's now matter how big or small their need may be. In addition to medication copay assistance, we also assist specific disease states with travel, insurance premium and diagnostic testing assistance. Every care navigator at Good Days is so invested in helping all of our patients and making sure they get their medication in a timely manner and in the easiest way possible. Nobody should have to choose between receiving their life saving medication and paying their bills or having food to eat. Good Days is an amazing program to help relieve that burden from as many patient's as possible and does it with so much care and compassion every single day.
Good Days has been a life changer for many patients who cannot afford the cost of life extending and life saving medications. We offer not only financial support, but emotional support and guidance to patients and their families when they do not know where to turn when trying to navigate the field of healthcare. You will not find a more caring team of people who deliver a hands on approach to assisting patients with their needs. Good Days goes above and beyond what anyone would expect in any field of customer service. We know when our patients need "extra help" with their pharmacies, and or providers and strive to resolve any issue as quickly as possible so there will not be a lapse in delivery time or procedures. We specialize in compassion and effectiveness. We are sometimes a safe haven in a world of worry when people are ill and confused as to what path to take because they cannot afford their medication. We offer hope. We offer a way.
With so many scary news articles, disheartening world events and distracting politics, it can be challenging to see through it all, and to still feel hope. However, Good Days Foundation makes sure to provide everyone with hope, encouragement and direction, when trying to navigate a financial path to afford life-saving medications. It starts with their leadership: Good Days President knows personally what it is like to live and battle with a chronic illness. She brings that personal experience to her team and created a culture that truly cares for their patients and partners.
Being diagnosed with a life altering diagnosis can be extremely difficult, but obtaining the medication you need to thrive and overcome that diagnosis shouldn't be. The team at Good Days does everything they can to make that hill easier to climb, not just with financial help but with a true care and compassion for the members under their care.
I have seen what Good Days has done for so many people. No one should have to choose between the medication they need and being able to eat, and Good Days does everything in it's power to make sure to keep that from being a decision. The team at Good Days truly cares about their members and their well being.
Good Days cares about all its patients. They go above and beyond to assist their callers to provide help even if their organization is unable to assist. Their care navigators show compassion and empathy when speaking to their patients. If there is a problem that needs to be resolved, Good Days makes sure to do their best to solve it!
When we found out Mom had Multiple Myeloma, we also learned there was only one type of medication she could take and that insurance wouldn't cover the cost. This medication was almost $6,000 per/month. Without Good Days, our family would not have been able to get Mom the medication she needed to stabilize. We had her for nearly 7 years and her quality of life was good! Thank you Good Days for your compassion. May your caring and generosity be returned to you tenfold. #Blessed
I learned about the great work being done at Good Days six months ago. I had no idea there was an organization of this caliber providing hope by assisting with a patient's greatest needs, finances. I didn't know there was a place to turn when resources were limited and insurance companies refused vital, life sustaining treatment or co pays were cost prohibitive. Good Days mission is embodied by its outstanding staff who not only work selflessly to make a difference but do their best to identify additional resources for patients. Effective compassion is a reality, not just a neat slogan. It starts at the top. It's leadership exemplifies the values and mission of this great organization and I am so very grateful to now have this invaluable resource to share. Thank you all for the amazing work that you do and the difference you make every single day.
The treatment for my macular degeneration starts at $2,500 and that includes about $420 of out-of-pocket costs each time. When I told this to my family, I was surprised to find out that my sister-in-law and her husband received assistance from Good Days for similar conditions. The only thing I can say is it’s been a wonderful experience. Good Days has been so much help that I cannot explain in words.
Medical bills pile up so quickly and become a huge burden, more than you can imagine. Even a $40 co-payment support keeps you from going into debt. Society has become so corporate minded...when you are dealing with insurance companies or others that you feel don’t understand what you are going through and how to help, and you fear what can happen to a child, it can make you so angry. Good Days sat on the phone with me while I cried, encouraged me to be strong, helped make sure that my niece Sierra, who suffers from a rare disease, still had a doctor and the right insurance, and got reimbursements for medical treatments that went wrong. It means a lot in those situations that they are there with compassion and patience.
Good Days is a life-saver for so many people and their families. I know how important this charity is for so many with cancer and other chronic diseases. Thank you Good Days!
Back in 2014 I needed Avery expensive cancer treatment, Medicare put 4000 per month, I could not pay the remaining 2000 per month, good days helped me and it means I am alive and keep fighting because I had this help. I am very great ful and feel that this nonprofit is a great and important resource for cancer patients. thanks very much
In December of 2015 I began receiving financial assistance from Good Days to help me with the co-pay for a very expensive medicine that I needed to treat my blood disorder. From the first moment I spoke with Good Days they were compassionate, concerned and expedited the assistance that I needed. They have been very good about staying in touch with me in a compassionate and caring manner. I am so grateful to Good Days, because they have literally saved my life.. Thank God for Good Days! - Fr. Jim Deegan, OMI
Good Days gave my dad hope during his battle with prostate cancer. Insurance would not cover the cost of a new cancer drug but Good Days got the medicine for him. From the time he applied to the time the medicine arrived was only a few weeks. Now whenever I hear about someone suffering from a chronic illness I let them know about the great people at Good Days.
As a member of a specialty pharmacy advocacy team and now in a role as a leader in The International Myeloma Foundation I have found Good Days to always be supportive. Helping patients and caregivers find additional financial help with medicine copay's literally has life saving benefits. Many of these patients are dealing with Myeloma. There are very few organizations that offer the type of support Good Days does. They are a needed and valued part of the Cancer and Chronic Disease journeys. Keep up the great work Good Days Team. We know we can count on you all! BHawkes
Our Beloved Josephine E. Duran (March 21, 1939-April 17, 2018) who was diagnosed with Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma in 2010. Josie lost her battle in the company of her family and her Good Days friends this Spring after a long fight. It is with a great big "Thank You" to this amazing organization who provided/funded her with Tarceva thoroughout her illness. We are blessed that we were given the additional 8 years of quality time to spend with our mother, wife, sister, grandmother, friend. This is who Good Days is.
TAlthough my husband passed away in 2015, We had a few more months together thanks to CDF. They helped pay for TARCEVA for several months To help my BILL see his cancer treatment through. I am sure his life would have ended much sooner had it not been for this very expensive drug.

In 2012 I was diagnosed with Age Related Macular Degeneration (AMD). I could not read or see things without distortion. I began treatments with a Retinal Specialist for shots in the eyes of Lucentus. Without the shots I would eventually go blind. I would not be able to afford the treatments without the aid of CDF. I would not be typing this now if it were not for their help and all their supporters.

I am so happy to see the Chronic Disease Fund listed on Charity Navigator. In 2008 after my husband had been diagnosed with leukemia, his doctor prescribed revlimid which was going to cost us $3,700 a month. Although he was covered by Medicare, our supplemental insurance company considered it a specialty drug and said we would be responsible for most of the cost of the drug. His doctor requested help from the maker of the drug, but they determined our family income was too high and wouldn't help us, so he put us in touch with the Chronic Disease Fund, and after sending them the information they requested and one follow-up phone call, he received the drug quickly and at a cost of only $75 a month which we thought was reasonable. I think it is a wonderful organization.

Chronic Disease Fund helped my husband with the treatment Provenage he is a stage 4 Cancer patient. Loving him so much I want whatever it takes to get help and he does have insurance but the treatment is still expensive. They asked for some information and it was approved in no time ,for the latest cancer treatment. The stress involved all around is quite overwhelming ,I'm so thankful for their help . Thank you Chronic Disease Fund for making it flow smoothly. Marlene
