Jamison Humane is nothing short of amazing! I have volunteered since early 2023, and will volunteer until my feet fall off! Even then I'd find some way to stay and help these animals that have done nothing to deserve their lot in life. And my experience so far is that everyone, volunteers and employees, feel the same way. I mostly help with horse care. There are a dozen horses to care for everyday, each in different stages of recovery from neglectful or abusive situations. There is nothing better than watching these beautiful magnificent animals slowly turn around and begin to trust human beings when pretty much all they have known is 'unkind' hands. Volunteers are appreciated and told everyday how much we matter. The financial needs can be endless but they all do amazing work with what they have, there is no waste here. They encourage everyone to be vegan or vegetarian, they are very environmentally conscious. Jameson Humane is nothing short of amazing and I am so grateful for them.
