Review for The Jonah Project, El Segundo, CA, USA
The Jonah Project seeks to meet the physical, emotional, social, and most importantly, the spiritual needs of the residents of Skid Row. They are a practical hands-on service that gets out of the comforts of an office, a cubicle, or a even a church and ministers one-on-one. My team was truly privileged to meet Patrick, Mary, and the other volunteers. They are positive, resourceful, and non-condemning. We were able to walk the streets handing out drinks and snacks. We were able to pick up trash off the desecrated sidewalks. We were able to pray and proclaim God's blessing over Skid Row and all the individuals that call it "home." There is a spirit of excellence in everything that the Jonah Project does. They create an uplifting and non-judgmental atmosphere for those that need love and acceptance and HOPE.

The Jonah Project has made a measurable impact in the outlook of Skid Row physically. Many of the residents recognize Patrick and his team and remarked on what a top-notch job they do.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
The Jonah Project has dealt with limitations set by the government before and God has used those obstacles for His good. It would be great for the Jonah Project to enjoy unlimited resources and support from the city. They are doing an exceptional job for the betterment of LA.
