You need to be careful about adopting from the dumb friends league in Denver Colorado.
We adopted a cat, and we took him to their a vet of choice within 3 days nothing was ever mentioned that he has a major heart murmur and allergies. The vet they send you to works with them as well.
We decided to take him to our personal vet. We found out he has a Major heart murmur which was 4 in range from 1 to 6, 6 being the worst, and they didn't say a word to us. Our vet said there's no way they wouldn't have known, and was surprised that we didn't know about. Thank goodness we are the type of people that will take in an animal and give him a good life until they pass.
This cat is only 2 years old.
If you're looking for a young cat or a dog please do not go through them. They lied to us and cover it up by sending us to their vet and her not saying anything to us, as well. I will be writing a review on her too.
I think about all the children that want to get a dog or cat. They fall in love with them not knowing you will have to put them down within a couple years when you're expecting to have them or at least 10 to 15years. Please don't put your children through that.
These people that work there are liars. They knew what was wrong with my cat before we even adopted him. I just thank God that we had our own vet look at him, a 2 year old domestic Short hair cat so we can get him the help he needs. It has costed us a lot of money and now we're just trying to give him a happy home until we have to put him down.
Also, I will not be surprised if this is not posted because I'm giving them a one star rating. You only see good reviews on this page. The reason I'm posting this is a test. If this is not posted I am going further with this. People fall in love with their animals and they become your children and family. They need a voice too.
