The first time I went to Red Bell Run I was delighted to see how kind the staff was when they greeted us. The grounds were spotless and so well kept up. The flowers were in bloom and it’s a place I was just happy to be there. But then as the tour began seriously I was blown away at all the stories of the mules and horses and how badly they were abused, which made me so sad but at the same time a great sense of joy as I looked at them today and how happy they all seemed. These people at Red Bell are truly amazing, honestly the hours it must have taken and the money it must take to nourish these poor neglected animals back to health, not just physically, but emotionally as well was mind blowing to me. They address every possible issue with the best qualified people that they can find. I’ve been taking a lot of people there and as a result have gotten to know the volunteers there, and how they have bonded with each animal that they are responsible for is truly incredible. I see and hear about so many abandoned and abused animals that no one even cared about and it’s truly heartbreaking, so to have a non profit like Red Bell is a gift to us all who love animals. Let’s all do our part to keep donating to this wonderful place these lucky rescues can live in peace and be loved . Deb Isabell
