What an amazing surprise to find out our family was given the gift of respite retreat at Woodloch Pines!!! All because the amazing organization For Pete’s Sake wanted to give our family a break from cancer! All I can say is WOW and thank you to such an amazing staff that dedicates their cause to giving an unforgettable respite experience!!! They took such good care of us! FPS did an amazing job at explaining every little detail before the trip to help us prepare. They even sent us goody bags and a stipend for food, gas and gift shop purchases! We were so busy having so much fun, meeting new friends, eating amazing food, and joining in on fun activities! FPS provided our group of 10 families with activities such as an escape room, paint and sip, and happy hour which gave us time to connect while having so much fun! This was an amazing getaway and exactly what our family needed! I actually didn’t think about having cancer during our trip, forgot about doctor appointments, we just enjoyed our time together! We’re so grateful to For Pete’s Sake for making this happen! We’re blessed to be a part of the FPS family and so thankful to have met other sweet families going through the same challenges.
