One Warm Coat is a partner that we rely on heavily to help us serve the needs of our community. Through our partnership with them and their network, we have received coats, blankets, food, sleeping bags, and more. On October 6, 2022, we hosted an event in the City of Compton where 300 coats and 600 lbs of food was distributed to our unhoused and low-income neighbors who struggle to make ends meet. So many parents expressed gratitude to us for providing coats for their children when they didn't have the means to do so. One of the most important things we can do for our neighbors is to provide them with warmth. This can be in the form of blankets, clothing, or even just a place to stay warm. The cold can be deadly, and many homeless people don't have the means to keep themselves warm. By providing warmth, we can help prevent deaths and make life a little bit easier for those who are already struggling. One Warm Coat has always come through for us. We greatly appreciate their allyship.
