My preschool class of 4-5 year olds completed a coat drive with One Warm Coat this past winter and it was a powerful experience. The students estimated that we would be able to collect 20 coats (the teachers and parents thought we could get a much higher number and were excited to blow the kids' minds.) As a class, we discussed need vs. want and volunteerism and worked on social/emotional skills like empathy. The students sorted and counted all the jackets, thereby strengthening their math skills. They wrote "pocket notes" and drew pictures so that they also worked on fine motor skills and literacy. As a class, we also knitted three scarves that the students were quite proud to donate. The kids were amazed and proud that we collected 192 coats. We concluded our project by taking a field trip to deliver the coats to the non-profit partner so that the students could be a part of the process from start to finish. It was a wonderful experience and planted the seed in their young minds to continue volunteering and making a difference for good.
We are a small but mighty food pantry. This winter we distributed more than 2400 winter coats to our clients. We couldn’t have done it without the support of One Warm Coat. The timing of the coat drives throughout the winter suited our space constraints perfectly. And the coats received through One Warm Coat drives consistently met our quality standards!
They are response and easy to work with.
Partnering with One Warm Coat was an incredible experience for our organization. With their generous donation of children’s coats and helpful guidance on collecting community donations, we were able to gather over 140 coats for our 2024 distribution. Their resources, including tax donation receipts, made the process seamless. The support from local churches, community members, and agencies was overwhelming, and our two-day event was a huge success. Serving as the main contact for our agency, I truly appreciated One Warm Coat’s mission and professionalism. We’re grateful for the partnership and look forward to future collaborations!!
AHARI’s experience receiving and distributing the 660 coats and shoes donated by One Warm Coat was incredibly impactful for the community. The donation allowed AHARI to provide essential winter clothing to veterans' children, schools, and churches reinforcing our commitment to serving vulnerable populations. The shoes were a hit as well.
The distribution process was well-organized, ensuring that children most in need received warm coats and shoes in preparation for the colder months. AHARI collaborated with local shelters, community centers, and outreach events to maximize the reach of the donation. To low-income families, and individuals experiencing homelessness expressed deep gratitude, as these items not only provided warmth but also restored a sense of dignity and comfort.
This partnership with One Warm Coat highlighted the power of community support and aligned with AHARI’s mission to provide essential resources for underserved populations. Moving forward, AHARI aims to continue such partnerships to further expand its impact and bring critical aid to those in need again in 2025.
Thank you,
AHARI's Executive Team
Through One Warm Coat, our organization was able to partner with two new corporate groups on coat donations (one renewed from the previous year). We are incredibly grateful for One Warm Coat to connecting us with generous folks in our community not only provided coat and winter clothing donations, but will have long-lasting partnership opportunities.
Harvest Compassion Center is a community partner of One Warm Coat. Over the past few years, One Warm Coat has connected us to several amazing businesses that have donated quality coats and cold-weather gear for our clients at our food and clothing bank. One Warm Coat communicates clearly, is easy to work with and a great nonprofit partner! Thank you, One Warm Coat, for all you do for the communities you serve!
The partnership with One Warm Coat has been amazing. We've received over 100 coats this past winter, and they are always willing to help us receive more. We've also been able to connect with local businesses/vendors to help serve more people with donations. Thank you One Warm Coat!
One Warm Coat contacted us (Siskiyou Community Food Bank and OWC partner), as they had some new coats to send to us. We were extremely pleased with the quality of the coats. The coats were provided to low-income families in need. Several coats went to homeless people who desperately needed warm and weatherproof coats. These coats were perfect!
Food Bank For New York City is grateful for One Warm Coat's support since the pandemic. To provide warmth through a meal and coat is an incredible opportunity to support our neighbors. We are so thankful to One Warm Coat for their generosity to the New York City community.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to One Warm Coat for their generous donation of coats, which made a significant impact during our Coat Drive & Repack the Backpack event in January 2024. Thanks to your support, we were able to provide warmth and comfort to hundreds of individuals in our community who were in need.
Your contribution not only helped protect against the winter chill but also brought hope and joy to many lives. The smiles on the faces of those who received a coat were a testament to the difference you made. We truly appreciate your dedication to helping others and your partnership in making our community a better place.
Thank you, One Warm Coat, for your kindness and generosity. We look forward to continuing our collaboration and making a positive impact together.
Sincerely,

The students in the schools were so excited and they were in great need being in Brooklyn NY. We did a big show that day for our students and all 7 sites come over 400 students even though it did not cover them all they were truly grateful for the gift. We made thank you cards, the students told thier parents, they were so happy. Many of our students were in great needs due to financial struggles, living in shelters, being homeless and having limited income. Your organization blessed 200 families and for that we are so grateful for your donations. Thank you again and I hope we will be selected again for small children or adult coats. Your organizations is amazing and you are all doing an amazing job!!! Thank you From the bottom of our hearts from P53k @ Spring Creek High School, Brooklyn NY. One Warm Coat is amazing! They are very easy to work with and super respnsive to inquiries. We rely on clothing donations from individuals as well as companies to help us meet the immediate needs of our neighbors in need. However, while we receive some clothing, coats are almost impossible to come by. It is really hard to tell a child we don't have something warm for them to wear in the winter or to tell a struggling parent we can't help them provide for their child(ren)'s basic necessities. One Warm Coat has come to our rescue to help us meet these needs for many struggling families. We love partnering with them. They are able to connect with multitudes of people to gather coats and we are able to distribute them to many in need. We look forward to our continued collaboration with them. Thank you One Warm Coat for all you do!!!
Partnering with One Warm Coat has been an incredibly rewarding experience in my role as Community Engagement Manager at Whitsons Culinary Group. They have been wonderful partners in helping organize opportunities for location teams throughout our company to make a meaningful impact in their communities. One Warm Coat has been instrumental in helping us organize effective coat drives at multiple locations, personalizing their approach in providing us the ability to best communicate, promote, and run effective drives and connect with local non-profit organizations that ensures the coats our location teams collect and donate go to people in need within the communities they serve. In two years running a company-wide initiative, 24 different Whitsons location teams were able to donate a total of 1,284 coats throughout their communities. This is only possible because of the infrastructure and personalized support One Warm Coat provides its partners. We are proud to be a partner of such a tremendous organization that makes a huge impact through their mission.
This was Mercy Truck's first year of being a drop off and distribution center. What an amazing opportunity! We received coats for adults and children. The coats were new or in excellent condition. We partnered with the Phildelphia Police Dept for their "shop with a cop" which was a December outreach to families and children. We also partnered with organizations who had sites in needy communities as well as homeless individuals. We were able to make a positive impact. Look forward to working with One Warm Coat in 2024
On behalf of Gov. Jim McGreevey and NJ Reentry Corp., we wanted to take this moment to express our sincere gratitude for your extremely generous donation of women's apparel from Girlfriend Collective through One Warm Coat. The women's apparel you donated has been distributed to our NJRC clients at all 10 Reentry sites. Your contribution has helped Reentry female participants provide much-needed clothing to women who have returned from jail or prison and this has allowed them to feel more confident and presentable in casual and athletic settings, which allows them to look good while feeling good. All the goodness that has come from your donation is recognized here and we greatly appreciate you for it.
We are truly honored for your commitment to making a difference in the lives of those affected by the challenges of reentering society. Your donation is an investment in the future of our participants and our community and for this, we are most grateful.
I represent a school for adult English learners from around the world. Imagine being a newcomer from a warm (even hot!) climate, arriving in Minneapolis in the middle of January, with not only yourself to keep warm, but other family members, as well. This happens every year at our school. We are so grateful to One Warm Coat, for connecting our school with generous coat donations for our students. The care of OWC and the quality of these donations offer our hard-working students safety, dignity, and peace of mind, letting them focus on the important work of acclimating to a new place and community. Thank you, One Warm Coat, for all of your efforts on behalf of our school community.
Great experience that brought warmth to so many in need. Tracking was provided so we can get an accurate ETA of the donations being received.
CHRIS 180 is thankful for your support. The families were very appreciative of the coats; they were just in time for the cold weather. We were able to provide coats to families in our current RRH programs serving families experiencing homelessness, and the community, served by our Drop In Center. You guys are awesome!
The privilege of serving on the OWC board has been life changing for me and my family. The gift of warmth is so impactful to the many who receive it. The work Beth and her team do is nothing short of incredible.
One Warm Coat is an exceptional organization, providing a necessity that every person deserves, to guard against the elements of winter…a warm coat. The organization is well run and provides a platform for people and companies with open hearts to help their neighbors stay warm. One Warm Coat is hero to many communities.
I have become involved with One Warm Coat as a donor, volunteer and board member. It has been a pleasure to become associated with an organization that not only does very good work, but does so very efficiently with minimal overhead. First and foremost, we should all care about helping those in need. But, doing so in a fashion that also promotes volunteerism in communities and addresses sustainability challenges by keeping usable clothing out of landfills is of great benefit as well. One Warm Coat is truly and caring and smartly run organization.
I love the attainability and simplicity of One Warm Coat's mission - to provide warmth for children and adults. Anyone even remotely interested in volunteerism and community - can help. As a board member, I see from the inside of the organization how much careful planning, impeccable coordination, care, and dedication One Warm Coat's team has in delivering the mission.
I have been a board member with One Warm Coat for over six years and in my opinion and experiences, haven't been part of a more inspirational organization with a clear purpose and mission, that changes lives. It's hard to imagine not having warmth - which to me is such a basic necessity. But at One Warm Coat, we see and hear story after story where a children or adult doesn't have the means or ability to own a coat and it's our ambition and mission to help all in need.
In addiiton, our CEO and team is made up with highly capibable and passionate employees that work tirelessly in support of the mission of One Warm Coat and are a huge pleasure to work with and see the majic that happens each and every day.
I am very blessed to be the Board Chair and be part of a very diverse board, all that equally share the passion to see One Warm Coat grow and continue to provide coats to our agencies, children and adults in need.
I first became involved with One Warm Coat as a Donor and was VERY impressed that for as little as $1 you provide warmth to someone in need. One Warm Coat's focus on helping those in need, as well as, fostering volunteerism, and environmental sustainability checks all the boxes. The people running the organization are very kind and caring. I have had the privilege to contribute on a larger scale to this philanthropy as a Board Member. I am EXTREMEMLY excited about the future of OWC continuing to help provide warmth and kindness to those in need (including the homeless, elderly, veterans, and school children). The world is a better place because of organizations like this!
One Warm Coat does excellent work proving free costs for people in need all across the United States of America. Their selfless work is making a huge difference. I’m honored to support and partner with this great organization!
Temple Beth Ahm of Aberdeen NJ has been working with the One Warm Coat organization for many years. We run a coat drive every fall and have been able to donate thousands of winter coats and jackets and warm items to people in need. One Warm Coat is an excellent organization and we are so happy to work with them year after year.
I have been involved with OWC for 5 years. This organization has been virtual since day one and has a distributed model with partner organizations that allow the non-profit to impact both locally and nationally, The organization is a great steward of resources, finds innovative ways to cooperate with industry and focuses on making it super easy to hold coat drives.
We have been holding a coat drive at our business with One Warm Coat for the last 3 years. We continue to sponsor One Warm Coat because of the ease of the process, being able to easy find an organization to take the coats, and the materials/resources we use to promote our coat drive. One Warm Coat is an organization we do not want to stop supporting!
One Warm Coat supports Dorcas Heart a local non-profit organization with donations of coats. The coats helps keep unhoused guests warm, allowing us to make an impact in our local communities by doing good! Thank you One Warm Coat for your partnership and all you do in the community.
One Warm Coat is a partner that we rely on heavily to help us serve the needs of our community. Through our partnership with them and their network, we have received coats, blankets, food, sleeping bags, and more. On October 6, 2022, we hosted an event in the City of Compton where 300 coats and 600 lbs of food was distributed to our unhoused and low-income neighbors who struggle to make ends meet. So many parents expressed gratitude to us for providing coats for their children when they didn't have the means to do so. One of the most important things we can do for our neighbors is to provide them with warmth. This can be in the form of blankets, clothing, or even just a place to stay warm. The cold can be deadly, and many homeless people don't have the means to keep themselves warm. By providing warmth, we can help prevent deaths and make life a little bit easier for those who are already struggling. One Warm Coat has always come through for us. We greatly appreciate their allyship.
This organization, One Warm Coat has been assisting our clients with warm coats, hats, beanies and warm clothing for many years! Our families appreciate all the donated items very much! The Fulfill A Wish Gift Project thanks you!

CityTeam Oakland and San Francisco, which serve the homeless and those living in poverty, has been able to bless hundreds of men, women and children through One Warm Coat drives. These coats are a life saver during the cold winter months, or foggy summer months, when the unsheltered have no heat or other way to stay warm. We are so grateful for all of the companies and individuals who take their time to donate to this great cause!

One Warm Coat has been an honor to work with over the years. They have donated to our organization, Sidewalk Samaritan, and with new coats, they always included something extra such as neck warmers. They are so lovely to talk to and reach out on their own to see if anything is needed. THANK YOU for everything you do!

The Marcus E & Sharon B Gunter Foundation, Inc starts in October by surveying our clients about their winter needs and goes through November. This year we delivered 195 coats, socks, gloves, and some blankets to our client families. We also delivered coats to the Bald Ridge Boys Lodge and Jessie's House (home for girls), Cumming Elementary and Otwell Middle. Our first sort and pack was Dec. 1, and we did not have enough coats for boys size 4/5-13/14. We discussed shopping at GoodWill the following Tuesday (Sr. Discount) to look for additional items. But the following Monday, we had a call from a partner, who was a drop off location, another partner had dropped 3 industrial size boxes full of coats.
Extremely grateful for the coat donations our agency received from One Warm Coat. These donations helped service not only our homeless population and low income families in our service area but also helped our agency accomplish our mission abroad. We were successfully able to send over more than 100 sweaters to low income field workers in the state of Jalisco, Mexico.
Our nonprofit, Native American Childrens Association, is small and limited in scope. But by partnering with One Warm Coat, we have cut a wide swath through the poverty on the US Reservations and helped thousands of children over the years, to feel loved, seen and importantly, warm. Many kids sleep in their coats and pass them down to siblings. The relationship has been heartwarming as well as literally warming children all over Montana! Great working with you-we are known after 15 years, so we know where the need is and how to get it to those as fast as possible with our great volunteers. We are 100% volunteer so the trust has been established with One Warm Coat and they have become an indispensable partner in reaching as many children in need as possible.
One Warm and their partners is a great nonprofit in making sure disadvantage families get needed sweaters and coats for the cold winter months. Our residents from a affordable property look forward coming to the offices to see what is available for their families.
The One Warm Coat program helped us to distributed much need it coats to our participants specially during the coat pandemic and many families lost their jobs and were doing their best to take care of themselves and their children. One Warm Coat helped provide coats for over 50 children served by our non-profit in the Spartanburg, SC and surrounding area. We at Recovery Oriented Practices greatly appreciate the support.
Our organization serves women and children within our community who are living in economic hardship. This past year has been especially difficult for many of our guests. One Warm Coat provided us with countless supplies to assist our families during the winter months. One guest in particular who arrived from Florida recently, came to us wearing a blanket with her grandson in tow. We were able to let them each choose a brand new coat and we also provided them with hats, gloves and scarves. Thank you so much for making it possible for us to help keep our community warm!
Our coat drive started off slow and all of a sudden the coats just started pouring in!!! I had an 11year old say, "Now I can make a snow angel!!!", after receiving a snowsuit this winter.
It's remarkable how you can make a family smile by providing warm winter gear!!! HATS OFF TO ONE WARM COAT!!! It truly makes all the differences!!!

Amity Foundation helps individuals and families change the pathway of their lives to attain dignity and success. This approach, designed to be inclusive, views participants as ‘students’ capable of active learning rather than ‘patients’ learning how to cope with a ‘disease’. We use a whole-person holistic approach with extensive interactive curricula which fosters personal growth, emotional literacy, and social responsibility. Amity’s campuses have been recognized as schools for moral development, self-actualization, and transformation.

Thanks to Operation Warm Coat we will be able to continue to provide warm coats to families throughout the winter months.
The Holy Ghost Takeover Outreach Ministry serves homeless people in Augusta, Ga. While attending a ministerial gathering in Philadelphia, our organization met a pastor’s wife from California that befriended us and told us about this great organization. We applied to this organization and was accepted as a partner. I want to say that they have the vision, professionalism and capabilities to deliver massive coats to the homeless. The Holy Ghost Takeover Outreach Ministry, as a nonprofit, are one of many of their feet on the ground. We were paired with a local business that gave us new coats for homeless men. These coats met a physical need but also an emotional need to tell these men that they are not alone and that someone really cares. People will give if they know who to give too. Jessica, the agency coordinator, stayed connected with my nonprofit following the route of the coats’ delivery until we received them. My only wish is that my organization can be paired with a national retail coat drive so that we could meet the needs of women especially those with children too little to understand this missing basic necessity but big enough to experience cold weather and lack.
I am so grateful for One Warm Coat. My non profit organization P.U.S.H. for Mental Health Awareness Inc. has received a large donations of coats to provide to Hudson and Essex county residents in needed. Thank you so much again. The pictures below doesn't do justice to the amount of coats received.
Helping Hands of America Inc. and our many donors collected and gave over 1,500 coats to children and adults all over the State of Maryland. We are so proud to be a part of the One Warm Coat initiative to help families stay warm. This year we had help from the Eddie Bauer store Annapolis, Maryland where families also donated new coats. One Warm Coat is such a blessing!
East Palo Alto, California. We had a huge need! And all it took was an amazing partnership with a the GREAT nonprofit that is One Warm Coat!!!
Our organization, One East Palo Alto Neighborhood Improvement Initiative (OEPA) was truly blessed from the moment One Warm Coat put us on the map!!! We are located in the heart of Silicon Valley where those who have the resources to assist us in spreading warmth came through with more warmth than we had ever seen in the 21 years we've been around!!! There were families, companies, individuals, Girl Scout Troopers, and even Marmot Coat Company that pulled up at our agency all because they found us!!! The Warmth Warriors came through with loads and loads of warmth! In these trying times - a global pandemic - business closures and complete loss of livelihoods and family incomes...our agency ensured this winter - in particular - was an extra warm experience! From the smiles and gratitude to our families in homeless shelters; when I tell you that One Warm Coat made us shine ...let the pics speak for themselves!!! OEPA + One Warm Coat = warm families and cozy coats!!!!
PitStop Outreach was grateful to receive so many coats from the Gilroy Rotary One Warm Coat drive this winter! It feels good to be able to give people a choice, and let them get the correct size and style, especially since the coats themselves were high quality, clean, and in perfect condition. It really makes a difference for people who live outdoors when they have good, warm outerwear to face the elements.
Our Mission
The Redwood Gospel Mission, in the grace and power of Jesus Christ, mobilizes our community to minister to the needy so that lives are transformed.
Redwood represents the geographical area of our service community, the “Redwood Empire.” We serve all of Sonoma County; also reaching out to the surrounding counties.
Normally we give away about 4,000 coats at our Great Thanksgiving Banquet. This year being different, we set up an area at our Thrift Shop for people to come and get a free coat. We gave away 690 coats. We also partner with other churches and agencies. Some of them do a food distribution, so this year they were able to give away coats too. Among us and our partners we gave away 3,500 coats.
We were blessed to received about 2,500 coats from One Warm Coat. Thank you!!
Here at StreetWise, Inc., we receive donations from many people and organizations, and all of them are appreciated to the nth degree. Since being with StreetWise (a couple of years now), I have become quite familiar with One Warm Coat, as well as with the joy that the various coats have showered upon our folks. Not only are the "goods" bountiful and well-kept, the folks in charge (drivers/delivery folks/those orchestrating in the back)--all of them are on-point, and I can't express well enough how appreciative I and StreetWise, Inc., are.
I truly embrace the "It takes a village" proverb.
Thank you, One Warm Coat.
Winter Came Early
Winter came early and hard in Birmingham, AL this year. The Power of Life Foundation, always finding a way to serve the public decided to host a winter coat drive to give away coats for the cold weather season this year. We signed up to be part of One Warm Coat to receive coats in the Birmingham, Area.
It was part of our Hearth and Soul project titled the Power of Life Winter Coat Explosion Giveaway. This project was a way for the Foundation to help keep people warm during the winter. We knew the residents of Birmingham would desperately need coats, gloves, hats, socks and other items, and we just need a few partners to help us make it all reality.
Jennifer was the first person to call and say that the residents of the Grand Highlands Apartments in Vestavia Hills wanted to gather coats for our coat drive. Jennifer works for Daniel Corporation. Daniel Corporation is a leader in commercial and residential real estate. Grand Highland donated more than 80 coats for the event. A special thank you goes to Jennifer and Ashley for coordinating the drive.
The Foundation received another call from Natalie of Family Promise. Family Promise works with families that are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Natalie called about our coat drive but, was instrumental in helping the Foundation with coats for children, and assistance with our adopted family, The McCalls. The McCall children lost both of their parents last fall to COVID-19, and are now being raised by their aunt and grandmother. https://www.wbrc.com/2020/11/29/birmingham-woman-raising-children-after-her-sister-unexpectedly-died-covid-/. The McCall children range in age from 2 through 17 years old. The Power of Life Foundation decided to help the family with immediate needs such as toilet paper, paper towel, laundry detergent and of course face masks. Natalie was instrumental in helping us provide those needs to the children. Natalie and Family Promise donated 100 kids coats, hats, scarves and gloves to our Winter Coat Explosion Giveaway.
In December, we received a message from the Starr Family who recently learned about the Power of Life Foundation from a news story. We told them about the Foundation’s plan for a Winter Coat Explosion, and the family took time out over the holidays to gather coats for our coat drive.
The Foundation was also contacted by Andrew of LKQ Automotive. They had recently heard of our visit to Jacksonville, FL and the different locations we were impacting and wanted to collect coats for the Winter Coat Explosion. Andrew collected coats from LKQ Automotive in Birmingham, AL, Montgomery, AL and Atlanta, GA. We were grateful to receive approximately 80 coats from LKQ Automotive.
Cedric from Walmart gave us a 50% clearance on winter coats and the Foundation purchased another $500 of brand new men’s coats in larger sizes for the event.
The Power of Life Foundation partnered with Todd Morris and the Housing Authority of Birmingham District to assist us with this project. An invitation was sent to all of their residents from various housing district to attend. We collected more than 400 gently used and new coats for the giveaway.
On January 31, 2021 at 10 AM, the Winter Coat Explosion took place at the Smithfield Gym in Birmingham, AL. It was a cool morning, but residents were already lining up outside to be first in line for a winter coat. The residents completed a form for the number of coats needed along with a COVID-19 Self-Assessment and then they were welcomed into the gym. They were greeted by great, uplifting music, kind words by the Power of Life Foundation Executive Director, Lane Harper, or the Foundation staff, and instructions on how to maintain social distance and have a great shopping experience.
The residents enjoyed being able to take their time to pick out something they really liked.
The setup was a beautiful display of coats in sections that were socially distanced. Girls Coats (included an infant section), Boys Coats, a table with free Bombas socks, gloves, scarves, and hats, Ladies’ Coats, Men’s Coats, then an exit table with free face masks by the Power of Life Foundation, and delicious cookies by Bud’s Best Cookies. All coats were beautiful displayed on coats racks donated by Burlington Coat Factory.
How the people danced and enjoyed their shopping experience. Many of the coats were brand new with the price tags still on them. We had an awesome day.

As the Pastor of Alpha and Omega Mission Bible Church and Destined and Designed by Faith Outreach Ministries have utilized the services of One Warm Coat as a distributor to the homeless and underprivileged for over 7 years. We have been extremely satisfied with the the care and the response of the client as well as the retailers. Destined and designed by Faith Outreach Ministries will continue to use these Services as we help two feed and clothe the homeless, impoverished and underprivileged here in the city of Richmond Virginia. Thank you One Warm Coat!!!
I am the Lead Volunteer of Hands of God Clothing Ministry in Pomona CA, we clothe and feed underprivileged and homeless Men, Women, Children and their pets. We serve from 300-500 persons on a weekly basis. We have the paperwork to prove it, HUGE SMILES...
We run strictly on donations and these past seasons we had not been receiving much in the way of warm clothing and NO coats at all.
I mentioned this to my sister in law Shauna Facciponti. She said she had an idea as she was doing a coat drive in her community in the High Desert as she had heard of an organization called One Warm Coat. She did not know if she could also nominate our organization but she would try.
I forgot all about our conversation and then one day I got a call from our Pastor Zamar Alkiezar asking me if I was expecting a large delivery from someplace called "One Warm Coat"? It took me a moment to remember back to that conversation and then it hit me and I was overcome with JOY and TEARS and told him YES please accept this.
Well when i came into the storeroom and saw the delivery i was truly overwhelmed with the amount of WARM COATS, SWEATERS, & CLOTHES that had been delivered. I started picturing our different clients in each coat. This is what i often do when i get clothes i match the clothes to the clients. Well then i started picturing all of our children that come in on a regular basis to ALL of the children's jackets and coat and i was truly overwhelmed with joy just picturing their faces. I could not wait until the next Friday giveaway to see all the joy this would bring out clients. Well there were so many coats, etc that this extended to additional giveaways.
Now that they have been gone for some time our clients have been asking all winter again "Hey are you ever going to get coat and jackets again"
My response to them is to PRAY REAL HARD AND GOD WILL HEAR US AGAIN and so will "ONE WARM COAT ORGANIZATION"
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts here at "Hands of God" Clothing Ministry a part of New Life Church-Pomona, CA and all of our client-guests that you have so generously blessed with your warm coats.

We at Saving Grace Outreach get donations from One Warm Coat and serve all our area schoolchildren in Cattaraugus, NY that are in need of a coat, hats, gloves, and boots. Thank you for allowing people to know that agencies like ours take in donations and bless those in need! Keep up the good work.
We, at Jerome D. Mack Middle School were honored to see that we were chosen to receive your generous donation of 100 warm jackets. Our special delivery was received on Friday 2/7/2020. Thank you for your great generosity. Your gift has already started to impact our students. Your support helps our students staying warm and wanting to come to school...
Your support is invaluable to us. Thank you again.
Our organization, Elev8 Foundations Addiction and Wellness Center, service the male homeless addicted population in Harlem and the surrounding areas. We serve over 200 patients a month and many of them need appropriate clothing and coats for the winter. One Warm Coat provided us with 150 good quality coats. These coats were all distributed over a two month period to the most needed patients. We have attached a few pictures and many of our patients signed a thank you letter showing their appreciation. Thank you very much. Lee Weiss, CEO
After seeing a need for winter jackets at my school, especially among the female population, I decided to partner with One Warm Coat to meet this need. I was so excited when the jackets arrived! But not as excited as these grateful girls! Thank you so much, One Warm Coat and KUHL Outerwear!
I work at a large elementary school in Queens, NY. We were in desperate need of coats for our kids. I reached out to Program Director Jen Haynes to see if she had any leads, and she immediately connected us to a private company looking to donate brand new coats. The coats arrived within 2 weeks and were very high quality. Our kids LOVED them, and we are so grateful!!! Thank you again!
One Warm Coat has been a blessing to Boys & Girls Clubs of Contra Costa. It has been a challenge finding coats in the winter for all the youth we serve (and who are in desperate need), and then we learned of One Warm Coat. From the CEO to the DOD to the entire staff, they have all been extremely helpful in helping our organization. We didn't know what to expect this first year since we just started the relationship, but we also knew that something would be better than nothing. Well. Fast forward 2 months, and we are now in possession of 500+ coats to distribute this winter season. Again. One Warm Coat. A true Blessing!
Thanks to One Warm Coat, during the winter of 2018/19 the Montgomery County (PA) Dept. of Health and Human Services was able to distribute over 700 coats to county residents in need! We received so many offers to be the beneficiary of coat drives that I had to turn donors away. One Warm Coat made that possible!
From the elderly program participant who was wearing a sweater in cold weather, to the homeless man who heard about the free coats and came in, to the multitude of women who came in to get coats for their children, and were overjoyed to find something for themselves - THANK YOU! The level of need is great - but the generosity and goodness in the world is even greater!!!
Our Daily Bread has partnered with One Warm Coat and it has been such a great experience. We were able to help so many of our clients stay warm this winter with so many donated coats. Thank you!!!
City Rescue Mission has teamed up with One Warm Coat for many years and it has been a wonderful partnership. We serve hundreds of the needy homeless through out Oklahoma City . From our clients who are here at the mission for a short period of time in their life to the many street homeless in Oklahoma City we hand out coats as needed to help all of them though the cold Oklahoma weather be it rain, snow, ice or just plain cold weather we are there for them 7 days a week.
Thank you One Warm Coat you are a God sent program.
This is such a great organization! The temperatures here in the northeast can be brutal, but my school collected over 60 coats for those who need them. I think this was a wonderful learning experience for the students.
We have signed up with One Warm Coat for a few years now but this was the first year we received coats from Coat Drives from One Warm Coat volunteers to help support our mission.
The Coats, Socks and Gloves Campaign we run each year delivers our items to families we serve year-round with our Food 4 the Hungry monthly supplemental grocery program. Before we met, we received a huge donation from the Hamilton Mill in Dacula coat drive. We met Dec.2, 2018 to sort the items by size and gender and of the 164 coats we needed we were short 3 coats. Two days later, another supporter from Northside Forsyth Hospital delivered another donation and as she left I commented that I was sure those 3 coats would be in those bags. They were!
We delivered those 164 coats with gloves, scarves, caps Dec. 15 when we delivered our December Food 4 the Hungry. But that wasn't the end of the story.
The following week we received two more donations. Feeling an urgency to place these items into hands that needed this help, we contacted two local elementary schools and one middle school and with the coordination of the social workers and counselors, we placed items for all these children. Still receiving more coats, we delivered coats and items to two local shelters, families we reached out to for emergency food deliveries.
All total, with all this support and assistance and support from some local coat drives, we delivered and placed just less than 400 coats in our county- Forsyth County, GA., to families and individuals who have really needed them this winter.
To add to the blessing, we have a variety of coats to store as a start for the 2019/2020 winter distribution.
It truly is more blessed to give than receive! Thank you to all the partners, schools and individuals.
Thank you,
The Marcus E & Sharon B Gunter Foundation.
ps. The large garbage bags are the winter items at the "site's table" for delivery not trash. Lady holding the certificate is the first donor we drove to meet half-way to pickup.
We work with One Warm Coat every year--we are with St. Vincent de Paul of Seattle King County. They do phenomenal work and we benefit greatly from how they help us secure coat donations to give to needy people during the winter. Thank you One Warm Coat.
One Warm Coat has been a huge supporter of the Union Gospel Mission, Sacramento CA! They have done a wonderful job to connect us with Burlington Stores. We serve the homeless and the poor and feed approximately 9,200 meals per month. We are constantly giving out many resources to help them, and coats are given away every day, especially during the fall and winter! Thank God for this wonderful organization!

One Warm Coat has been supporting the Union Gospel Mission for many years, now. Each winter, we get an abundant of coats from Burlington Coat Factory that One Warm Coat arranged for us. We are able to bless many homeless people and less-fortunate families. We are truly grateful for their organization!
I am the Director of SmileFaith Foundation Community Center in Jenkins, KY. SmileFaith does free charitable dental care, health and wellness programs, and is currently opening up a wellness/recreational center in our community. One of our programs called Unity Mission Outreach just received a generous donation of 400 very nice, brand new coats from One Warm Coat.Unity Mission Outreach partners with local, regional churches, and nonprofits to help provide everyday necessities for struggling families. We live in an impoverished Appalachian coal town where the collapse of the coal industry has created hardship for many families. I cant thank One Warm Coat as well as the retailers who donate to this organization enough! I am also very grateful for the ministries who are working alongside of us to help distribute the coats to those in need. All of the staff at One Warm Coat are so friendly, kind, and caring.
Love this organization partnered with them in 2018 our organization peace love & unity outreach received over 100 coats for children and families through one warm coat awesome and well needed resource thank you one warm coat you guys rock
I have held a coat drive for the past three years with the guidance and help of OWC. I used to work in a school where kids would come to school in the middle of winter without coats. That’s when I went searching for an organization and found OWC. I have been able to facilitate and help over 7 shelters and schools in New York City. I hands down could not have been able to do it without OWCs resources. I am looking forward to the winters to come. THANK YOU OWC, Broadway loves you!
Will forever love this organization! I have started doing it with my daughter when she was two and I plan to continue to do it with her for many years! I love the fact that anyone, at all ages, can help make a difference in their community!
One Warm Coat is one of the best non-profit organizations! Over the past four years, we have been collecting coats, jackets, and winter accessories for those in great need in our surrounding communities, and with the help of OWC, we have been able to partner with churches and ministries who provide this much-needed warmth directly to the people in the community. I have run drives through my synagogue, Temple Beth Ahm of Aberdeen, NJ, and through my employer, The Kislak Company, Inc. and have collected more than a thousand jackets and winter items for distribution. I look forward to working with OWC again when we kick off our next drives in October 2018. The people at this wonderful organization are very helpful and caring and it is a pleasure to work with them.

Thank you, Janet! We are so grateful for everything you do each winter. You are the best!

Thank you for the great review and sharing the photo! We are so appreciative of your continued support, and all of the warmth you are spreading!
Our family started the "In Memory of Amy" One Warm Coat Drive in 2011. Amy died of ALS and, in lieu of flowers, asked that everyone do something good for the community. We went online to see what we could do and One Warm Coat was at the top of the list. They made it so very easy to collect coats, advertise, find a local charity and distribute the coats to those in need. It was so easy, in fact, that we have been collecting coats every year on the anniversary of Amy's death. We collected over 2,000 this year and have met so many nice people along the way. "Amy's idea" and "One Warm Coat" were a perfect match. We are grateful to One Warm Coat for all they have done to help us along the way.

jennifer 06/07/2018
Thank you so much, Kathy! We are honored that you all celebrate Amy by sharing the gift of warmth.
As our key coat drive partner - OWC has helped us raise the level of visibility and community corporate support. We are privileged to garner the support of this great organization!
One Warm Coat is one of the best businesses to work with. I am so happy about the relationship I have forged with them. It is so good to work with people who truly care about others. I wish there were more organizations like this one
We serve families in Northern Philadelphia. And One Warm Coat has been a great opportunity for us to help cloth children and families displaced from Puerto Rico this year. When I registered I could not have imagined the pouring of support that we have received. Our children and families are very appreciative, as are we. Thank you One Warm Coat. Great Job.
Wonderful group to work with. Very professional and helpful with any questions you need to create your donation center. Wonderful group, wonderful cause!
The Ruth M. Kirk Learning and Recreational Center signed up for the One Warm Coat registry, and it wasn't long after, that we started getting calls from people and businesses that had coat drives and wanted to donate coats. One Warm Coat has been very instrumental in making all those connections, they even reached out in our desperate time of need and found a gal who donated 500.00 worth of coats, at the same time we were having our Food Drive!
The Ruth M. Kirk Learning and Recreational Center is a non profit that helps families and children with the essentials for everyday life in Baltimore, Maryland. They are a great organization that really helps people in need to stay warm!
My 2 oldest boys held a coat drive to help warm those in need in our community. December brought brutal cold here in NH, frost bite in less than 15 mins to exposed skin. It was apparent that now more then ever coats and donations were needed to help people in our area. I am forever grateful for @onewarmcoat for giving my sons the resources to help others and for raising awareness that anyone can help others no matter their age. Chase 10 and Tripp 7 collected a total of 202 coats and $75 to help those in our community that could not otherwise afford warmth this season. They donated the coats collected to the Southern New Hampshire Missionary who helps feed, clothe, and provide shelter to the homeless in our area. The certificate the boys received today from One warm Coat will always be a cherished reminder of the good the boys did this year... This will surely be a new family tradition for us. After all isn’t that what being human is about, lifting and helping each other up? Thank you to everyone who helped and made this possible. We as a family appreciate you and we appreciate One Warm Coat for their help in making our coat drive possible! On be half of all of us... Keep warm my friends!

jennifer 01/24/2018
Thank you so much for your kind words, Sherie! We are so proud of Chase and Tripp and everything they accomplished this winter. We look forward to working with you all again next year! Many thanks to your whole family!
One Warm Coat works with Weber State to provide students with opportunities to volunteer for their non-profit during the school semester. We assisted with packing some of the coat drive packets and we know that the students had fun knowing what their work was doing for their community and the whole country.

jennifer 01/23/2018
We are so grateful to the wonderful students and staff at Weber State! Thank you for your support!
Loved working with this organization - we had a great event for our Chamber of Commerce and helped warm 48 people with coats.
I have held a few coat drives and I love dropping off the coats to agencies and seeing the happy faces of those who could use the donations.
One Warm Coat sends out a fantastic coat drive kit so that the drive looked professional and crisp.
Can't wait til this winter season

We had a coat drive for our chamber of commerce during one of our events. This was an amazing event as we looked professional with the supplies that were provided. It was easy to find a non profit in our area to donate to and everyone was very happy with the results.
Thanks again

We are pleased that your event was a success! Thank you sharing your experience :) Best, Jennifer Stockard-President, One Warm Coat
The One Warm Coat program is one of the easiest programs to get started and see results. Our final count was 52 coats and jackets for One Warm Coat drive, which benefited The Alpha Project in downtown San Diego. At 79 degrees, it's hard to remember the nights are cold for those that do not have One Warm Coat. I will say that one lady was going thru the stack as I was leaving.
The program supplies you with all the flyers, email inserts, templates as well as big banner (I placed on a large cardboard box in the office). I believe everyone would like to make a difference and with One Warm Coat, everyone could make a difference!!

jennifer 05/25/2017
Thank you for your review! We are so glad to hear you had a positive experience! What an awesome gift you have given to so many in the San Diego area. Thank you!!
I work for a startup in SOMA-SF and we did a month-long coat drive. We exceeded our goals and people were excited to get a weekly update of our numbers (of coats and donations). Everything was so easy to do, from set up to emailing Patti to get our donation figures...seemless! Will definitely do another drive next year.

jennifer 05/25/2017
Thank you for the positive feedback! We are so glad everything was easy for you and thrilled to hear you will be back this coming winter. Thank you so much for your support and generosity!
Several Tokio Marine companies participated in a One Warm Coat "coast to coast" drive from January to February 2017. The coat drive was a challenging task as we had to organize six collection sites throughout the country. We established conservative goals to collect 300 coats for the selected local non-profits and raise $3,000 for One Warm Coat. Through the tremendous support of the One Warm Coat team and the generosity of Tokio Marine's employees, we exceeded our goals by collecting over 1,200 coats and raising over $17,000. One Warm Coat is very worthy cause and one the "Good Company" team would encourage other organizations to support.

jennifer 05/25/2017
Thank you, Melissa! We are so grateful for the incredible support of everyone at Tokio Marine who participated in the Coast to Coast Challenge this year!
I work with a non-profit that has received many coats from donations coordinated through One Warm Coat. They are organized and respond promptly to any emails, which is so appreciated. The amount of drives that we have been connected to because of this organization has made such a difference to our clients! Thank you!

jennifer 05/25/2017
Hi Caitie, It's wonderful to hear that so many of our Ambassadors have contacted you. Thank you for being our partner and doing so much good in your community!
I set up a children's coats collection through tenino antique mall, and collected more than 50 coats that we then donated to the Olympia family center nonprofit. It was a wonderful experience and one coat sent me all the tools that I needed to get it started. We will be doing it again next year. Thanks again Melodie

jennifer 05/25/2017
Hi Melodie! Thank you so much for the positive feedback. We are so grateful for your support this past winter and look forward to working with you again this coming winter. Thank you!!
Acting as Portland YouthBuilders’ coordinator for this year’s One Warm Coat drive was quite the experience! Since it was my first time doing anything like this, especially on the impressive scale of coats we received, One Warm Coat was there every step of the way to help. Its expertise at procuring partnerships with local businesses enabled us to serve all the students here at Portland YouthBuilders! We had so many coats, most of our students were fortunate enough to go home with more than one if they needed. And with those almost two solid months of random and unforgiving weather, the kindness of the community through the leadership of One Warm Coat would have definitely been missed. We are grateful to everyone who donates and contributes to this wonderful organization in the good works it does. Portland YouthBuilders looks forward to re-upping again next winter season.
- Kaleema, Development Assistant

jennifer 05/25/2017
Hi Kaleema, It's incredible to hear the story of your students who received coats this year. Thank you so much for being our partner!
We can't thank you enough for the Warm Coat program.
We have received wonderful donations that are placed in our Community Closet located in the basement of one of the elementary schools in Palatine. Families are signed up by social workers to attend the closet to select coats and clothing items for their families. This school year we have been able to serve 670 adults and children with coats and warm clothes. This would not be possible without the help of the Warm Coat Program.
The Community Closet relies on the donations from community members and partners to replenish the closet. Because of your program, you are helping us provide families in our community with basic clothing needs during the winter months.
Thank you again, your friends from PATH

jennifer 05/25/2017
Thank you for sharing this story with us! It's so wonderful to hear about the impact of our Coat Drive program on your Community Closet. Thank you so much for being our partner and providing this opportunity to those in your community!
We the JAC Family Foundation, teamed up with One Warm Coat to host a coat drive and bring warmth to our local family shelter. We enjoyed working with One Warm Coat and loved how easy it was to setup our coat drive. Thanks One Warm Coat!!
The JAC FAMILY FOUNDATION!
I am excited to attend another One Warm Coat event hosted by Brooke. I have attended them in the past and not only love the idea, but appreciate the way in which Brooke handled and presented the event. I look forward to the upcoming event and I am happy to hang on to the spare coats in our closet for such a fabulous cause.
I attended an event a few years back run by Brooke Cabot at Lagunitas in Petaluma Ca. It was such a fun event and Brooke did an amazing job hosting, gathering the raffle items and getting people to donate coats. Brooke is constantly working hard behind the scenes and promoting all her events. We are attending the next even by Brooke in January 2017.
An amazing cause to help others. One simple step to help our fellow humans.
An amazing organization.
Thank you!
As an Event Coordinator and Volunteer who has worked with multiple companies over the years, One Warm Coat has been a great non-profit organization to work with on an annual basis! Not only have our past events been successful the day of, the process of registering, coordinating and keeping in touch with their Corporate staff has been streamlined and effective. Their website walks you through how to begin the process whether you are new to fundraising or an experienced "fundraising veteran" like myself. Highly recommended organization to work with if you are looking for a great way to connect and help out in your community!
The one warm coat organization is easy to work with, prompt and professional. They make helping others fun and gathering coats to spread warmth easy to do. They provided a way to teach my son about the importance of giving back and helping other kids in need, he was proud to donate his coat and even asked his friends at school to do the same. I was over joyed to receive the certificate of appreciation that was presented to my group for it's participation and look forward to working with them again.

jennifer 10/17/2016
Thank you for your kind word, Angie! We're so glad your son had a great learning experience. We appreciate your support!
As a board member for a youth ice hockey organization - we wanted to leverage our home tournament and potentially make a difference in our community. Partnering with One Warm Coat was an easy and smart decision. OWC gave us the gave us the "know-how" and support to hold our very first coat drive, as it surpassed everyone's goal. Our nearly (500) coats were immediately distributed throughout our community. The need is great and we will continue to support our community in all ways possibly - we look forward to partnering with One Warm Coat in the future. Chuck G.

jennifer 10/17/2016
Thank you, Chuck! Congratulations on the success of your first drive, and thank you for helping us spread warmth. We look forward to working with you again!
Our National Honor Society worked with One Warm Coat to organize a winter coat drive for those in need. The service was very helpful in sending materials for advertising the drive, and played a supportive role in linking us up with local organizations that we could donate the coats to. We had absolutely no problems working with One Warm Coat.

jennifer 10/17/2016
Thank you for working with us and getting the students from your National Honor Society involved! We hope to work with you again!
They helped me organize several coat drives and to find worthy organizations to donate them to. One Warm Coat is an Amazing organization ♡♡

jennifer 10/17/2016
Thank you so much for the kind review! We hope to work with you again soon!
One Warm Coat total support was excellent. Having a reputable non profit do so much good through volunteers is outstanding and more of what this world needs. To witness the appreciation of coat donations is moving. (Multiple coat drive volunteer.)

jennifer 10/17/2016
Thank you for your kind words and continued support! We can only do what we do thanks to our awesome Ambassadors, like you!
One Warm Coat has been so influential in getting our guests here at St. Anthony's Free Clothing Program the warm coats they need. Coats are always a critically needed item of our guests and thanks to the generous support of One Warm Coat we always know that we have coats coming during the holiday season.

jennifer 10/03/2016
Thank you! We are so grateful to everyone at St. Anthony's for your years of support and friendship.
Thank you so much for donating all of the wonderful, warm coats for the coat drive. This was our first annual coat drive. We were able to give coats to over 500 women, men, & children. Many of those that we served were homeless or just could not afford to buy coat for themselves and their children. Thanks to the One Warm Coat Organization we were able to put a smile on the faces of a lot of people in need, and help keep them warm from the rough winter.

jennifer 10/03/2016
Thank you, Saffiyah! it was so great to work with you and the great people you serve.
I was grateful for a coat drive that was held under the name One Warm Coat. When they dropped off the coats to our organization we had just handed out our last coat. What a blessing.

jennifer 08/13/2014
We are so happy you were able to receive coats through our program!! Thank you for your kind words. Best,Jennifer - President, One Warm Coat
OWC is a great organization. They made it really easy to have community members donate coats to a good cause with the posters provided by OWC. Thank you very much! We plan on making this a yearly event to help those in need.

jennifer 08/13/2014
You are very welcome! We look forward to working with you again this year. Best, Jennifer Stockard-President, One Warm Coat
I am the manager of St. Anthony's Free Clothing Program in San Francisco and there is literally no way we would be able to serve our guests without the help of One Warm Coat. We serve over 10,000 men, women and children every year, many of them suffering the plight of homelessness, and given the fact that it is always winter in San Francisco except for a week or two of summer, coats are always in high demand.
It is an absolute pleasure to work with everybody at One Warm Coat. They make the process of organizing coat drives and getting the coats to those in need as simple and easy as possible, which not only produce amazing results but also increases awareness throughout the community of the issues of poverty and homelessness and the importance of doing something about it. Last year in just 1 day, they collected over 1,000 coats for us during their Ferry Building Coat Drive, and I would estimate that over the entire year, the amount was 10 times that.
I cannot say enough good things about them and I would highly recommend them to programs, donors, volunteers, basically anybody who would listen to me.

jennifer 07/23/2014
Thank you for your kind comments. The work you do is so important to the city and to us. We are so very fortunate to have St. Anthonys as our partner!
You guys are awesome last year was my first year organizing a coat drive. The flyers you guys send me and the posters helped a lot. Thank you!

We are so happy that the materials we sent helped you! Thank you for holding a coat drive - we think you are awesome too!! Best, Jennifer Stockard - President, One Warm Coat
In the midst of last year's horrible winter weather, I decided that I'd like the students at the elementary school where I teach to engage in a service learning project which would involve collecting coats for the needy. i knew that I should have started the project before winter began and it would be important for me to distribute the coats as soon as possible after collecting them. One Warm Coat sent me large publicity banners to hang in our school lobby announcing the coat drive and also answered all my questions on their website. I was able to enter our school zip code and find a number of worthwhile charities near our school that were willing to pick up the coats. Within 10 days, we collected over 300 coats for men, women, and children. We donated the coats to a center for homeless veterans and a shelter for abused women and their children. This project involved minimum work on my part and was extremely rewarding to students, parents, and faculty.

jennifer 07/07/2014
We are thrilled that you chose to help your students learn the joy of giving at such a young age!! The 300 people who you helped felt warmed by the coats and by your student's kindness. Thank you! Best, Jennifer Stockard - President, One Warm Coat
One Warm Coat made it so easy for my students to hold their coat drive. We started by using the website to find a local shelter to donate to. The website is so user friendly, it was a breeze to learn everything we needed to know and find our local shelter in 20 minutes tops.
Then, faster than we could make our own posters, One Warm Coat sent us a supply packet filled with high quality resource materials, from banners, to stickers, they even included receipts for our donors. The whole process was so smooth and our coat drive was a big success, and I don't think it would have been without One Warm Coat.

jennifer 07/07/2014
We love when children participate!! Thank you for taking the lead and helping your students hold a drive. We are glad that using the website was a breeze and that you were happy with the materials. We hope you will hold another drive this year :) Best, Jennifer Stockard - President, One Warm Coat
What a GREAT and WORTHY organization!!! We sponsored a Coat Drive Christmas, 2013. I own a Beauty Salon in Minden, Nevada. There are 6 stylists and 1 manicurist. In 30 days, we collected 125 coats; just by word of mouth; from people that were so grateful that the coats were to be given away...not sold.
We were so proud to be a part of One Warm Coat drive!!!
Thank You.
Nyona Lang

jennifer 07/03/2014
A big thank you from us and from the 125 people that had a warm winter because your salon joined OWC! We are proud to have you on our team. Best,Jennifer Stockard-President, One Warm Coat
I organized a coat drive through One Warm Coat for our entire school district (3 elementary schools, a middle school and high school).
The support materials given to us from One Warm Coat helped to make this the best drive we have ever had.
The 2 food pantry/shelters that took all of the donated coats were amazed at all of the coats that were donated.
I will definitely use One Warm Coat again next school year!

jennifer 07/02/2014
Thanks for getting the WHOLE district involved - that is fantastic. We love when youth learn how easy it is to volunteer and to give! We'll be happy to help you again this year. Best, Jennifer Stockard - President, One Warm Coat
I organized a coat drive in my neighborhood through "One Warm Coat". The welcome package included everything we needed - signs, tax receipts, stickers for the boxes. We had a donation spot at a local yoga studio and made it easy for anyone to drop off coats. A certificate afterwards was a nice touch.

jennifer 07/02/2014
We are glad that the tools we supplied were helpful for you. Thanks for sharing your story and thanks so much for making your neighborhood a little warmer! Best, Jennifer Stockard - President, One Warm Coat
I organized a coat drive at my daughter's school through "One Warm Coat." It was easy and straightforward and gave me all the information and resources I needed. I liked that I didn't have to speak to anyone, go to any meetings or trainings, etc. I did everything via email in the middle of the night, then posted the information at my daughter's school. When the end of the coat drive came, I brought the coats to our chosen recipient (also arranged via email), and we had a lovely meeting in which she gave me and my kids a tour of the facility. Parents at our school felt good, and almost everyone had a coat to give to someone in need.
I very much appreciate the organization and clarity of "One Warm Coat." We will be organizing another coat drive through them next year. Thanks!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We are happy to know that everyone felt good about participating. We'll be here to help you again this winter - even in the middle of the night :) Best,Jennifer Stockard -President, One Warm Coat
The company I work for decided to participate in a coat drive fairly late in the season. One Warm Coat made it easy and simple to take part and select an organization in our own community. I was confident our donations would be greatly appreciated and helpful to those most in need, knowing we were helping our fellow Arkansans.

jennifer 07/02/2014
Thank you for your kind words. We are happy that your fellow Arkansans had a warmer winter because of your efforts! Best, Jennifer Stockard - President One Warm coat
"One Warm Coat" was easy to work with and helpful to the Capital City Rescue Mission in Albany, NY. They helped us provide hundreds of coats for those less fortunate in our community? We let them know we desired to work with local companies and they connected us with Burlington Coat Factory. We were able to pick up "gently used"coats weekly and help others with their basic need of a warm coat! Thank you "One Warm Coat"!
Arlington Life Shelter, the homeless shelter in Arlington, Texas, has been a recipient of this wonderful effort for many years. The men, women, and children we serve are so grateful for the gift of warmth, and we as an agency are so grateful for this wonderful partnership.
Each year my company receives about 1000 to 1500 warm coats to pass out in Long Beach Ca. since we are the only organization that collects the coats for distribution, we really appreciate their efforts of putting together and organizing the drives. the people who receive the coats come from all over Long Beach. we give them out as we receive them. Our annual Christmas event and early January is the best time for us. All the Coats, sweaters and jackets that we recieve are brand new or gentlely worn, but everyone of these items are appericated by those who receive them.

SafeHaven of Tarrant County, an agency that shelters women and children who are victims of domestic violence has benefited greatly from the coats collected on our behalf through a One Warm Coat Drive.
To provide our women and children residing at our Shelters with a clean new or gently used coat is a priceless gift. Thank you, One Warm Coat, for making the process so easy for donors!
Winters in the Midwest can be brutal. It is heart-breaking to see so many individuals in our area without the winter coats they need to keep them warm. That's where One Warm Coat has come to the rescue, providing much-needed winter clothing for those who need it most--the poor and the homeless in our town and in other neighboring towns. We are most grateful for the valuable service they provide!
One Warm Coat is an excellent source for the gathering and planning in hosting a coat drive. I'm not sure how they sent me banners and stickers and flyers but it was WONDERFUL because it made the cost of sponsoring the clothing drive $0. Thank you One Warm Coat. I love helping people and you have made it so simple it's ridiculous not to help :)
We at The Emergency Assistance Center in Northfield, Ohio work with individuals who are in need of food, personal care goods and clothing. We are so extremely grateful for the partnership with One Warm Coat. Because of this organization, we were able to give winter coats to every person that walked through our doors. Currently we are seeing over 650 individuals and it was an absolute joy to have the honor of ensuring warmth during those cold Northeast Ohio months. Thank you on behalf of our clients!
A HUGE thank you to Burlington Coat Factory in Macedonia, Ohio. Evan, the General Manager, was outstanding in his help and support. We are profoundly grateful for Evan and his staff.
The Women's Committee through my CWA local has participated in collecting coats for the past four years. With the support of ONE Warm Coat we have been very successful. We have distributed thousands of mens, womens and childrens coats to those in need.
There is a wonderful satisfaction in helping people in our communities. One Warm Coat provides us with the structure , supplies and support which makes it possible to do this "good" work.

I am the Public Relations Director at Open Door Mission in Omaha, NE. We are a nonprofit that has been the recipient of a large number of coats, thanks to the partnership Open Door Mission has with One Warm Coat. The coat we receive through this drive go to help provide for many homeless and low income families and individuals in our community. It is a great honor to work with them.

As a small business looking for a local charity, OneWarm Coat fits the bill. It is so easy just to email them & they send you a wonderful sign so your clients know you are a collection spot. Your clients appreciate that the business they love to support, supports the community as well. It is a win-win. I have collected coats at my business a number of times with success.
Last fall (2012) was the first time my small business collected coats for their ONE WARM COAT winter drive. It was so easy to participate and locate a site to send the coats. My customers were very pleased to bring in their gently used coats, knowing that they would be worn again by someone less fortunate. Many others asked if we would be participating again this fall (2013).
For the past eight years our law firm has sponsored a warm coat and clothing drive to benefit another non-profit organization in our community. Without the success of One Warm Coat and its incredible and knowledgeable staff, I would not have been able to successfully organize our fundraiser event. A big WARM hug and thank you to One Warm Coat. Maria Z.
Each year Tracy Interfaith Ministries receives hundreds of coats and jackets through the efforts of One Warm Coat partnered with Burlington Coat Factory and other organizations who read about this program and decide to participate. We have about 4,000 men women and children coming to us each month for food and clothing. This program really helps us meet the needs of the under served in our community each winter when the weather turns cold and all are looking for "One Warm Coat".
One Warm Coat is a program that as they say" warms the community one warm coat at a time!"
American Self Storage held a coat drive using materials provided by One Warm Coat and it really benifits those in need . We donated the coats collected to the Women & Childrens Center local charity , wonderful program!
Thank you!!
HUNE is a not for profit that focuses it's services on children with disabilities educational needs. HUNE did our first One Warm Coat drive last year. Thanks to One Warm Coat many children with disabilities and their families were able to not only stay warm, but do it with style. Thank you warm coats for providing needy families with an everyday essential that otherwise would of been left out in the cold.
We have a new non profit organization. Last year we were referred to One Warm Coat & they were most helpful to us. They provided guidance in coat drives etc.
One Warm Coat is an excellent program that helped so many people on the West side of Chicago stay warm during the fall and winter seasons. They far exceeded my expectations in the amount of coats that would be collected for those in need. There donations brought many smiles to men, women, and children in the community that were without warm coats. So many people were able to benefit from their efforts. On behave of the members in the community we want to say "Thank You" for all that you do.
My daughter and I have been involved in Girl Scouting for many years now and have made One Warm Coat a part of our services projects almost every year. The organization excells in communication and organization. We feel confident that the coats we help collect are being distributed to the most worthy in our area. One Warm Coat is on our troop's plans for the coming year as well.
This organization keeps me updated all year long and supports my efforts to collect coats through my church. It is an easy way for anyone to get involved and we always have great success collecting and redistributing the coats.
One Warm Coat is a charity like no other. It is a "true" charity in that they collect new and gently worn coats and distribute them to those in need, ABSOLUTELY FREE, and no questions asked. No middle-man, no expensive TV ads. Their model is simple. Announce a coat drive, set up collection boxes, then distribute the coats you collect to shelters in your area. What could be easier? I have collected over 1500 coats in the past few years. I will do it again and again because everyone needs One Warm Coat.
My daughter started organizing a coat drive at school when she was 6 years old. She has had 2 drives to date and will continue this tradition each year. One Warm Coat helped us by providing flyers and advertising materials, as well as providing lists of potential organizations who might benefit from receiving coats and winter gear each year. From their list, my daughter was able to select a receiving non-profit organization that she felt passionate about. One Warm Coat also provided her with great follow up and certificates of appreciation for herself and the school, to help ensure the school continues to get involved each year. I found that any questions I had were answered promptly and always with a personal touch! A very important and wonderful organization to ensure that those less fortunate can keep warm during our harsh Toronto winters.
One Warm Coat has been wonderful in regards to helping us with the process of collecting gently used coats. Our church donates the coats to women and children who have needed to leave their homes because of abusive situations. The shelter at the YWCA then give each woman and child a free coat. Many thanks to One Warm Coat for their assistance.
I am a corporate colleague responsible for putting together community activities. Like many, my schedule is full and putting on a coat drive or any kind of activity needs to be easy... and it was with One Warm Coat. I received the use of their logo via electronic files and hard copy mail which made it easy for me to promote the coat drive. Also, Using One Warm Coat resources I was able to research and find a charity that would come and pick up the coats. It was easy and flawless with their help. Using One Warm Coat is a win/win situation!
Hello~ I am the Events Committee Coordinator for our campus in Tracy, CA. Working with One Warm Coat allowed us to successfully have a winter wear drive that generated much needed clothing for the needy of our community, plus over 50 coats! Needless to say, the drive was not only successful, it was an joint effort that in the end allowed us to bond by helping others in need. One Warm Coat was our source for support and knowledge. Their website is comprehensive and provides all the tools one needs to make a Coat Drive a reality. This was especially important for us because last year was the first time we had ever done it!
We are a non profit and I wanted to have a clothing drive to help the people in my community and because of them we were able to put coats on over 100 community members.
I am with St. Vincent de Paul in Seattle. One Warm Coat has helped us for years deliver warm coats to hundreds of needy children in our county. Their work is timely, heartfelt, effective and extraordinarily helpful when people need it most---in the winter when poor families are struggling for survival---and that is really the correct phrasing now. Things have changed in America. The less fortunate have less and One Warm Coat provides great help.
They are efficient because the plan well in advance and have a lot of moving pieces to coordinate. They do great work.
We need more charities like One Warm Coat.

Jim, Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a wonderful review. We love what we do and are so happy to help those in need. St. Vincent de Paul of Seattle|King Count has been such a pleasure to work with! Jennifer Stockard - President
I've been an educator at various middle schools since 2003. I have always tried to incorporate service learning in my curriculum and even taught a service learning mini course. One warm coat was one of my first projects that I did with my children. Armed with no experience contacted One warm coat. They took all the worry out of generating such a community based project. From the posting of your drive to ideas and support though out the entire project, to even following up on your drive. One warm coat even provides you with all of the advertising supplies that you need so you do not have to use hand-made signs.
There is such a need for the basic things like coats in the winter, in our communities today more then ever and thanks to organizations like One Warm Coat it is so easy to set up a project that allows you to do your part. If you know that there is a need in your community for such a drive as this, but are holding back because you do not know if you have the nohow, this is definitely for you ! One warm Coat will walk you through it step by step.

jennifer 06/07/2013
Thank you for sharing your experience. We love knowing that One Warm Coat is in the classroom. Thank you for choosing to help "your children" learn how important it is to help others. We are pleased that we were able to help you! Jennifer Stockard - President
My Mission Center is located in the "hood" of North Saint Louis City, MO. There is poverty which means there is next to no money to purchase food let alone coats for children as well as adults. It is a high crime and addiction area. We have blessed them with the coats, gloves, scarves and hats donated to us from One Warm Coat. It is a wonderful program to help the needy and less fortunate in our city. It is our own "Haiti" in Saint Louis.

jennifer 06/07/2013
There are so many in need and it is a blessing that centers like yours exist to help support the less fortunate. Thank you for lettinng One Warm Coat be a small part of what you do! Jennifer Stockard - President
I organized a coat drive in Batesville, MS in January 2011. I was grateful for the promotional materials and other advice on getting the word out about the drive. I had five locations in the city and the people I asked were very cooperative. Once people in the community knew what I was doing, they joined and made the drive a SUCCESS! We collected over 100 coats and donated them to the Panola County Family and Children Services. Thanks for all you do at One Warm Coat!!

jennifer 06/07/2013
We are so happy we were able to support your coat drive. You were able to help so many people have a warmer winter. We thank you and hope that you will hold another drive this winter. Jennifer Stockard - Presdent
I work on a virtual team, we are all across the US, because of that its hard to find a volunteer event that everyone can take part in and will serve their own community. One Warm Coat was our answer. They team up with Burlington Coat Factory around the holidays we were able to donate across the US by using their store locations. Everyone send in photos of their donation so we could share in our goal of donating as a team.
With this being a different style of team donation I had question on us logging our coats and the best way to make it work and when I called the staff was friendly, helpful and excited that a virtual team was trying to come together for a common goal. I would and will work with them again.

jennifer 06/07/2013
We are so glad you chose to hold a One Warm Coat drive as your virtual volunteer event. We do our best to support our organizers and are pleased that we were able to assist you. We hope your team will make this an annual event! Jennifer Stockard - Presdent
For several years our company has conducted a winter coat drive for One Warm Coat . And every year I am surprised at how successful it turns out! We have had the privilege of working with the great people at One Warm Coat in Philadelphia area especially, Matrie Johnson. She really gets the coats moving out to the people who need them and also spread the warm of knowing someone cares.
We were so pleased to find OneWarmCoat. They were tremendously helpful in our company's drive to collect much needed clothing for a local organization.

jennifer 06/07/2013
Eve, Thank you for your kind comments - we are so grateful that you choose to hold a company coat drive and hope you will help again this year. Jennifer Stockard - President
Over the past 2 years I have had the privilege of helping One Warm Coat with collecting coats for those in need. Not only is it a great opportunity to give but OWC makes it so easy. I sign up online they send me the materials I need and I collect costs from friends, neighbors and co-workers then turn them all in at the designated areas. Something so simple has a huge impact and I am proud to be apart of it.

jennifer 06/07/2013
You are right! Donating one coat is such a simple act and has such a big impact for the person that receives the coat. Not only do they have the warm coat they need to make it through the winter, they also know that someone out there cares about them. Thank you, we are proud to have you on our team! Jennifer Stockard - President
Here in New England where the weather is cold, a warm coat is a much needed item, your program "One Warm Coat" has provided us the opportunity to help many in need, this year alone we have given over 1000 coats to folks in the Waltham MA area, from the Bristol Lodge Soup Kitchen and MHSA, we thank you "One Warm Coat" your program is awsome.

jennifer 06/07/2013
What is awesome? - 1000 coats is awesome! There is such a great need for coats every year and folks like you truly make a difference in the lives of others. We appreciate your efforts to warm your Waltham community. Jennifer Stockard - President
Our facility chose to support One Warm Coat last year. Our contact was helpful and supportive, and made donating to this charity very easy. She sent us posters and props to use for our fundraiser in a timely manner. They still check in on us now. Nowadays charities make you feel like you have to have huge donations to make a difference. One Warm Coat did not make us feel that way, which is why we will choose to donate to them again at some point. We were completely satisfied with our experience with this charity.

jennifer 06/08/2013
We are so happy to know that you were pleased with the support you received from One Warm Coat. Each person that contributes their time or their coat is very important to us. We are truly grateful for your efforts. Jennifer Stockard - President
Our Brownie Troop selected One Warm Coat to do a service project with in our community. The girls set up collection sites at their schools and even did "drive by" donations as parents dropped off their children. The activity was so simple to organize and our 10 girls collected over 200 coats. Dropping the coats off at a local collection site couldn't have been easier for us as well. The staff were amazing to work with and helped us every step of the way. I loved what they were doing as welL. Our girls learned the value of just one simple coat to a person in need.

jennifer 06/07/2013
Brownies are awesome! A big thank you to the girls for helping others so many stay warm. We are glad we were able to help you. Jennifer Stockard - President
We started 2 years ago with One Warm Coat. They are amazing! Our neighbourhood started collecting coats 2 years ago in December. The experience was amazing. OWC sent us all the necessary tool for a successful drive. They made it so easy to collect and distribute the coats. We get updates on the the successes of this organisation and how our donations helped. We look forward to working with OWC again this year.

jennifer 06/07/2013
Rosslyn, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are so happy that the tools made it easy for you to hold a drive and look forward to working with you again this year. Jennifer Stockard - President
One Warm Coat is awesome. It started out with a request to our fellow Lion members to clean out their closets and bring their gently used but unwanted warm coats to our annual Christmas party. From there it grew and we started collecting from other Lions clubs in the area and local businesses. Scales of Justice Lions supports One Warm Coat with their annual coat drive and we're hoping to make a larger impact every year. With a homeless population in San Jose alone of over 7,000, there is a definite need for this drive before the cold winter months.
One Warm Coat makes it very easy by providing support and good marketing materials. We had a donation of 80 coats one day because of the online information pointing to our drive.

jennifer 06/07/2013
Thank you for sharing your One Warm Coat experience. We hope the Lion's club members will "roar" into action again for the 2013/2014 coat drive season. Jennifer Stockard - President
I am a HUGE fan of the organization One Warm Coat! During my years as a community action leader and youth group advisor, I’ve sought ways to help people in need and involve as many “comfortable” people in the process as possible.
One Warm Coat's Guidebook for organizing a drive is VERY easy to use; the sample letters & flyers saved me loads of worry. Thanks in part to these tools, my youth group collected OVER 500 COATS!
And the beauty of it all? As one donor said, “No money changes hands – just warm coats and the great feeling you get when you give.”
Thank you, One Warm Coat, for making it so easy!
One Warm Coat has a simple mission with a HUGE impact. We are trying to provide coats for those in need of all ages. We work hard to make it easy for any individual, group, business or school to run a coat drive and connect with a local agency to assist with distribution of coats. We want everyone to know the importance of being part of a cause that can make a difference in another persons life. As we know, if our basic needs are not met, it is difficult to be a successful. A touching example of success this year was "Albert's Story" a young boy in a Navajo Tribe who received a coat through the partnerships created from One Warm Coat.
