The Peace Pavilion brings a focus on peace to the Independence and greater KC area in a unique way. Teaching children lessons of peace building through engaging and fun activities. Visits to the Pavilion can happen as groups (schools, clubs, and other groups) or as families and individuals. It is a great place to visit.

The Peace Pavilion is the principle program of PeacePathways (an organization that establishes partnerships with other organizations that build peace). Established to teach peaceful ways to children, the Peace Pavilion has been in existence for more that 28 years. Recently it moved to a new location that is 7 times larger than its previous site.
