Having read comics consistently for 30+ years it's no wonder that I've connected with and donated to the Comics Appreciation Project (CAP). What I love the most about CAP is that it fosters a love of comic books among young at risk youth. It introduces them into a fun, creative and positive world that many of us have come to enjoy over the course of our lives. I have found the director/senior contributor, Jason Kelley, to be knowledgeable, intelligent, passionate and personable in his quest to raise awareness and appreciation for the medium that is comic books. As a donor, transparency is very important to me. I like to know where my money is going and what it is doing. CAP does a fantastic job of lets us know what their goals are, which books are being purchased and where/who they are being donated to. Their honesty and integrity coupled with their love for one of my life long hobbies is why I will continue to support the Comics Appreciation Project. Please look them up and check them out when you have a minute. It'll be time well spent.
