Teen Lifeline was introduced to me in High School. I was going through some personal hard ships and needed to join something extracurricular. There entered Teen Lifeline. I started with their in depth training that all teens need to become a part of their "peer counselors". The training taught such amazing life skills that I have carried with me throughout my entire life. As someone who has unfortunately had many friends in a suicidal state, the skills I learned with T.L. gave me the tools I needed to help me with giving proper advice and guidance. I have continued to volunteer for T.L. throughout most of my adult life and continue the message of "you're not alone". Teen Lifeline can make the difference of life and death. It's an essential non-profit and I know it's continued growth will continue changing the lives of those in need.
