ASTR works tirelessly to help dogs find safe and loving homes. We found them on instagram and initially decided to foster a special needs dog they had rescued from China. We fell in love with him and eventually decided to adopt him! ASTR did such a thorough job interviewing us and making sure we had a safe home to foster Don and I was very impressed by how much they truly care about all the dogs. We have friends who have adopted two dogs through them and are currently fostering a third and they also highly recommend ASTR!

This rescue organization goes above and beyond in making sure dogs are removed from dire situations and placed in safe and loving homes. We are currently fostering an amazing dog who was rescued from China and is paralyzed. They were very upfront about his challenges and called several of my references and did a zoom visit to make sure we would provide a good home for him. I have another friend who adopted a dog from them and he said it was an amazing experience and they love their new pup!
