Rebuilding Together Atlanta, Inc. (RTA) is a fantastic very lean organization staffed by a small group of committed individuals dedicated to engaging in home repairs, revitalizing communities, and in doing so rebuilding the lives of extremely low-income senior and/or veteran homeowners residing in substandard housing in the city of Atlanta, Georgia.

RTA’s vision is “Safe Homes and Communities” for everyone. Their work often goes beyond each home being repaired. The organization is rooted in the Atlanta community that it has served and continues to serve for more than 30 years.

The staff work closely with community residents and leaders to ensure that RTA utilizes a holistic person-centered approach to community revitalization and home repairs. Together with its community partners, RTA creates and executes plans to address the needs of the local community and homeowners, making its efforts person-centered.

RTA's staff build a trusting relationship with homeowners, which gives the organization a keen understanding of their clients’ needs. Additionally, it allows RTA to provide comprehensive services to each homeowner not merely home repairs but also very necessary holistic referrals to other service providers who address the homeowners other pressing needs. RTA’s service delivery model is researched based. Research data indicates that RTA's services improve both the physical and mental health of the homeowners served.

Rebuilding Together Atlanta's staff, volunteers, donors, skilled contractors, and in-kind suppliers offer unmatched cost effectiveness to the work of home repair for vulnerable senior and veteran homeowners.
