I have followed Sheldrick for years now, their Twitter feed is so uplifting, I love their website and have bought T shirts from their gift shop ( online). Their amazing staff and animal guardians are doing life and death work to save the wild animal populations. I feel good when I support them because I know they are doing big actions to back up their wonderful words.

AAVS is a valid and long time charity. Many years ago as a new healthcare worker ( I still am one) I was sucked into the belief animal research was necessary. I did not know what went on in the labs , until a microbiology class my classmate told me she used to work in one and had to quit because it was so horrendous. My eyes and heart started opening. I became a vegetarian, now vegan, and did more research. Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine has fact based research showing animals are NOT necessary at all and in fact the outcomes are erroneous! AAVS of course has the same information. We have to support these causes. The for profit industries that breed the poor animals and use them so needlessly have to be stopped. I support AAVS and hope for the day we won't need to.
