This organization does wonderful work rescuing at-risk dogs, providing needed medical and grooming attention, placing them in caring foster homes, and finding permanent adopters for them. They are mindful of the needs and welfare of the dogs when they screen potential adopters and engage in follow-up to make sure all is well following adoption. We adopted a senior dog who was in pretty bad shape when rescued by One Love, such that one eye needed to be removed. One Love funded that surgery and fostered her until she was ready for us. She has settled in very nicely with the remainder of our small senior dog pack and is enjoying the good life.
