I called Cindy at dogtree Pines after I read an article about her and her mission in the newspaper. She didn’t call me back so I called again and I called again and then I thought she may think I’m stocking her so I didn’t call back. Wendi she called and said some people were coming to look at the sanctuary. Would I like to come up and I said of course I will be there. So I packed some gloves and trimmers and shovels and things that I might need as a volunteer and found Cindy’s sanctuary for dogs. After sitting around visiting and letting Cindy talk to the other people, they finally left and I just went to my car got my tools and started working in Hilliard. She said what are you doing and I said I came here to work and that’s what I’m gonna do. She laughed and said you know we don’t have any volunteers yet and we really didn’t know what to tell you to do , she goes that’s why I didn’t call you back. I did not know what to do with you. So I said I am here to work and that’s what I’m gonna do. I’ll just do anything I need that I see needs to be done. And that was the beginning of our long and happy relationship. I love all of those dogs every single one of them is so dear . And my little favorite Navi all day long. Just want you to throw him the ball and bring it back and he’s as happy as he can be. These dogs live in the house they sleep in the kitchen they sleep in the hallway they sleep in the bedrooms they sleep in the living room’s, this woman and her partner Bill have brought these dogs in and they are 100% family . I just love them.
