I had discovered this organization by searching for a specific rescue breed of dog (not a Scottie!). I had lost an older dog last fall and felt ready to start exploring another dog for our family. I was a bit anxious at first wondering if I was ready emotionally and physically (this was our 4th adopted rescue over a span of 23 years from different organizations). Heidi’s group screens potential adopters in a way that ensures you and your family and home are really ready and really dedicated to the welfare of this animal. I appreciated her approach, every step- from references to virtual home tours and meet and greets. I am so grateful for the dedication, love, heart ache, research and $$ they put into these rescues and adoptions. Mollie is worth This process. We are truly grateful ❤️
