Every year Assistance League of the Eastside offers a program called Operation School Bell. This program serves families in the Lake Washington School District. They provide vouchers to be used at Fred Meyer to purchase school clothes, shoes, supplies, and groceries to help families meet basic needs to start the year off right. I am so thankful for this program and how it helps families and directly cares for students.
