I have been involved with Haiti Scholars since the beginning and I am amazed by everything that has been accomplished in these past 6 years. So many volunteers and donors have stepped forward to help the students of Mariani, Haiti. Even with all the civic unrest and displacement of many of our families, we are still able to provide and will continue to provide schooling and humanitarian needs for these students wherever they are residing in Haiti. We are committed to fund scholarships for all the sponsored students and their siblings throughout their educational journey. It is amazing to receive such gratitude from the students and their parents. Even though they are living in horrible conditions, they still thank us for anything we do for them, no matter how big or small. Haiti Scholars is a remarkable nonprofit and I am very proud to be a part of it.

So many volunteers and donors have stepped forward to help the students of Mariani, Haiti. Scholarships, physicals, medicine and vitamins, school supplies, computers, instructor support, nursing support, and more have been and will continue to be provided. What a joy it is to see smiles on these children who live in such turmoil when they attend school! And our commitment will continue as long as it is needed to give the children hope for a better life. A huge goal is to provide a meal-a-day at school. Wouldn't that be wonderful!
