I volunteer with one of CASA's partner rescues. The volunteers at CASA put their heart and soul into what they are doing every day. The shelters they partner with have to make tough decisions everyday. Because of CASA and the rescues they partner with hundreds of lives are saved. I fostered around 80 dogs last year. That is 80 lives that would have not made it out of the concrete cell they were living in. Those 80 dogs now have loving families and got to kmow what life is really all about. There is so much that goes into saving each of these lives. Networking, Transporting, Vetting, Spaying and Neutering, Temp fostering, Advocating. It is such an experience on transport day, when the van pulls up to the rescue I work with. We know that van full of animals now has a second chance at life. We know they have come already with their mandatory vaccines. We know they are microchipped. We know the adults are all spayed/neutered. We know we have made a huge impact on each and everyone of their lives.
