They fixed, vaccinated, and microchipped both of my fur babies and did an amazing job. I first took my cat, whom needed neutered, and they did great with him, and I returned and had my dog spayed. The incisions healed up nice and quickly, and the home care instructions for after the procedure were very easy to follow. Thank you guys for what you do!

This place is terrible and operating illegally. For every bad review they get on this website- they create a good review to offset the numbers so they have a 5. They do not allow reviews on any other platform or website. Not even google. You will not find a phone number or correct address for them— wonder why? Also— on Facebook groups when people let it be known how terrible CASA is (they’ve killed many pets) they will delete the comment or post and block the person. Also, the public Columbia,Tn groups will delete the post and remove the person from the group. These people are criminals!

Amazing resource for Maury County & the surrounding counties. They provide low income surgery services and go above and beyond to care for the patients. I have brought over 100 cats to them for surgery over the past year and they have always done a wonderful job. I don't know what I would do without CASA Clinic

Do your research about this organization and the people that 'operate' it before taking your beloved pet here. This organization is clearly operating illegally and not following proper guidelines to remain in compliance with the AVMA. I, along with the help of a couple of neighbors, took 6 cats here that are our "neighborhood cats" for spay/neuter/vaccines/rabies and all but 1 had severe complications that resulted in an emergency visit to another clinic the night of the procedures. This facility/clinic/organization warrants an investigation ASAP. Beware.

CASA CLINIC in Columbia is outstanding and affordable. Not only have I had personal pets spayed / neutered through them, but I have also had numerous foster pets fixed through them. NEVER HAVE HAD ANY PROBLEMS with any of these animals after surgery - follow their after care instructions and leave the "come the of shame" on for the required number of days!

CASA has a wonderful & caring staff and the LICENSED & VERY EXPERIENCED veterinarian n staff, makes the tiniest incisions I have ever seen (which helps for speedy recovery) and most of all, very affordable low cost spay/neuter prices for the immediate community and surrounding counties which is extremely important in this day and age when people are suffering financially but still want to do the right thing by getting their animals fixed!

CASA is the only low cost clinic I recommend when asked on the three lost / found groups on Facebook that I am administrator for and people come too, for suggestions on getting their animals fixed, affordable microchips, affordable vaccines etc. The follow up suggestions would be the county shelters, that also offer low cost options.

Would NOT recommend. You definitely get what you PAY for. I don't think this clinic even has licensed veterinarians doing spays and neuters. If they are, they definitely don't want you to know! I really wish I had done my research before trusting them with my pets. After my two cats were spayed here, they both ended up at another vet clinic for over a month with severe infections due to a negligent surgery. Once CASA was notified, they said the vet clinic I had taken them to was just being excessive and then ignored the rest of my calls and messages. Needless to say, two SIMPLE, COMMON cat spays ended up costing me over $1,500...

The CASA Clinic ran by Laura Pretchel and Maily Tran for cash only spay and neutering. It was a very cold atmosphere from dropping off my purebred Bernese mountain dog Molly then picking her up. She was perfectly healthy not even 2 years old yet that was until I made the biggest mistake trusting the incompetence of the people at their clinic in Columbia TN. Now I understand why they are so secretive about who runs their establishment and the text only number with no idea of who is on the other end. My beautiful girl is now gone, she took her last breath at 2:00 am Sunday November 3rd. I contacted the number they give you that is text only yesterday because I was noticing a bloody substance leaking from Molly's incision, the incision was not open but a bloody fluid was oozing out of it. Who ever was on the other end of the text only number had me send pictures of Molly's gums and said it looked good and that it was probably only a hematoma that would resolve on its own. I thought she would be ok too at first the bleeding seemed to have stopped but then started again so we tried the compression as directed I was woke up by Molly at 1:00 am at my bedside for help there was nothing we could do there was a pool of blood and she was gone within the hour. We followed all the directions head cone kept her inside etc. The communication with this vet is very cold no empathy or compassion in addition to lack of motivation to check on her own patients properly to make sure they are alright. Why? I think she knew when she gave me back my dog they messed her up. Her lack of eye contact and verbal communication when I picked her up really makes me wonder. I found out later through a search online that a hematoma can be ia very serious condition that needs evaluation. Do not let this woman or any of her constituents touch your dog. The death rate for dogs after a spay procedure is very low, with a mortality rate of 0.009% to 0.03% is so rare that it is likely the surgery was not done correctly or another organ was punctured. I do not think the people at this clinic are even licensed veterinarians, there is nothing on their website about being accredited or even the word veterinarian located anywhere on any of their online information on who performs their surgeries. Never in my life did I think I would ever encounter such a tragedy or think to have to check for a vet license from someone performing spay and neuter surgeries, a very hard lesson learned. Run the other way! RIP Mama's you were the best dog we could have ever asked for. She deserved so much better.

I adopted a little kitten who was neutered at CASA last week. When I adopted him, his paperwork was very clear and organized making it a wonderful experience to get him established at my local vet office. It was so great to adopt him neutered and updated on his vaccines! Thank you CASA.

I'm a transport driver for my local overcrowded and underfunded animal shelter. If it wasn't for CASA the dogs would be living in our shelter until euthanized. CASA took 4 of our dogs just a week or so ago. These dogs were the lucky ones who thanks to CASA have a chance to be placed in fur-ever homes. I can't thank CASA enough nor can I express my appreciation enough.

I've been volunteering as a driver from Benton County to Columbia for this non profit for a year now. They provide the best care for unwanted animals to include: vet services, transportation out of state, and placement of thousands of fur babies. These animals have either been at over crowded shelters or foster care. CASA saves their lives!

This an amazing non profit. They transport lots of animals from my small town. We only have a small rescue that is ran by full time working moms. They rely on organizations like this one to get unwanted animals out of our county to a better life. Please consider spreading the word and donating to their cause.

I accidentally met an older gentleman who was living in a small cramped home. His wife had left him for another man and with tons of financial problems. He had a male Australian Shepherd who was running wild in the country- chasing cows (hmmmm, imagine that!). After working through his concerns for “Zipper’s” manhood AND his safety he agreed to let me take him to CASA.

I live 2.5hours away from there but Daphne was able to find him a farm who wanted this wild boy. A precious volunteer met me in the pouring rain and snow to get Zipper started on the road to his forever home. She was great letting me know how he was doing and I can’t thank CASA enough for saving his life!

I am retired on a limited budget and want to help financially to help these Angels whenever I can. Thank you CASA- Zipper is living his best life now thanks to you caring for him!

I help volunteer with a partner rescue. We wouldn’t be able to save the lives we do without the help of so many amazing people at CASA! They help with the vetting and transport, so all we have to do is give our fosters a loving home! Thank you for all that you do! Miss Piper is just one of the lucky pups that you’ve helped. She was found with a sibling in a literal trash bag, but through fostering she found her forever home with an amazing family.

This is the truth. Three years ago, I was living in NJ. One night, I told my partner I wanted to help dogs and cats more. But I don't know how and what. A few weeks later, we found out we're moving to Franklin, TN (job opportunity). Out of the blue. Five months in, I decided to volunteer at Williamson County Animal Center to walk dogs. But I wanted to do more than walk dogs. Don't get me wrong, I love walking dogs. But I felt I could do more. But I didn't know what "more" was. Volunteering at WCAC was Laura Prechel. We both volunteered for the 6:30am shift. She was quiet and always texting on her cell. She always looked preoccupied with her cell. I heard she transported dogs/cats out of TN to save their lives. Huh? That her home and garage are filled with dogs/cats. Huh? One year later, I finally understood what she was doing. I didn't know so many dogs/cats are being euthanized in TN due to overcrowding in shelters/pounds. I didn't know a lot of folks here treat their animals as property and these animals are easily disposable to them. I didn't know TN doesn't have strong laws on spay/neuter. Thousands of dogs/cats are being killed either because people don't care or they don't know how bad it is. Laura, who worked full-time and volunteered at the shelter to walk dogs also did rescue transport! She transported the animals to sister rescues in northern states where these beautiful animals were welcomed and have more fosters and adopters than the south has. Laura just couldn't sit around and do nothing. She did something. She became the animals' voice in 2016 and she's going strong. In 2020, I joined her. I helped where I can. Cleaning crates, walking the dogs, feeding the dogs/cats, transporting them, data entry, bringing them to vet appointments, cleaning the van. And being her friend. I wanted to support her vision, her goals. I was brought to her. I was removed from NJ so I can meet Laura. In 2021, CASA became a nonprofit. And her volunteers grew. Everyone knows the importance of rescue transport. We need transport to save lives. Attached is a picture of Laura.

I volunteer with one of CASA's partner rescues. The volunteers at CASA put their heart and soul into what they are doing every day. The shelters they partner with have to make tough decisions everyday. Because of CASA and the rescues they partner with hundreds of lives are saved. I fostered around 80 dogs last year. That is 80 lives that would have not made it out of the concrete cell they were living in. Those 80 dogs now have loving families and got to kmow what life is really all about. There is so much that goes into saving each of these lives. Networking, Transporting, Vetting, Spaying and Neutering, Temp fostering, Advocating. It is such an experience on transport day, when the van pulls up to the rescue I work with. We know that van full of animals now has a second chance at life. We know they have come already with their mandatory vaccines. We know they are microchipped. We know the adults are all spayed/neutered. We know we have made a huge impact on each and everyone of their lives.

While I don't volunteer regularly with CASA, I had the opportunity to take photos and help at a NJ transport meet-up site. It was really something special to see these dogs from rough rural TN shelters being dropped into the arms of their overjoyed adopters. Both humans and dogs were so happy and you could see it on their faces! It was a very cool experience to be a part of.

Never have I seen a collection of more dedicated and passionate cohort of individuals driven to rescue and provide for the well-being of beautiful souls looking for a chance to live a happy life in the company of a loving family. Through their determination in driving to distant animal shelters and create trusted relationship with local authorities to secure the animals release, to arranging medical care and transportation to awaiting foster care, CASA demonstrates how working together we can achieve wonderful and life changing outcomes for hundreds of dogs and cats per year.

CASA is an amazing group of volunteers!

We are partnered with CASA , you couldn’t ask for a more dedicated group of volunteers. Last year they helped us and all the rural areas around us with over 1,000 animals ! Their determination and grit along with their love that drives them ! Literally! They had a vision to help move these animals waiting , some for long periods of time with no foot traffic in the pound / shelter , they have taken so many that were set to be euthanized. They made a way to have HC days and spay / neuter days , Which is truly a huge load off already under funded lil rescues trying to stay above water in our rural areas . They not only help educate about spay / neuter they have taken action to make it possible on certain days to again help rescues and their community by offering spay / neuter .

I volunteer in recovery room for their spay/neuter surgery days and also help on health certificate days, which the cats and dogs need to be transported to rescues in other states. CASA is so unbelievably great it is hard to find adequate words. They rescue dogs and cats from rural animal controls and shelters, saving the lives of hundreds of animals. They spay/neuter them, have them examined by vets, transport them to reputable rescues in other states. It is entirely volunteer run and funded by donations. It is run SO well and efficiently, has wonderful people who are capable and kind to animals and volunteers, and they always go the extra mile literally and figuratively. I love being part of this team.

I’ve been honored to have worked along side the amazing people at CASA- I’ve driven transport and also helped on a health certificate and surgery day. I’m learning that the animal rescue world is a small one - however CASA has a huge impact with 30+ counties in Tennessee, they transport these animals north where animals may not be as readily available. They transport to IL, IN, MI, CT,WV to name the states that I know of- there are probably more. If you are looking for a place to volunteer or donate to I urge you to look no further. This place is full of love for the abandoned animals of the south.

Furthermore they are going above and beyond when it comes to organizing pickups from shelters, health certificate days and surgery days.
Thanks for what you are doing CASA, it’s amazing to see you grow.
