when our family found a new church in the area, we would take part in the various collections that were held to support Freehold Aera Open Door. With life's craziness, work and running around the kids, it felt like an ok thing to do because we were helping our community. Fast forward a couple of years, i am now a representative for our church on the board for FAOD . Life is still crazy but I am now the one who takes the collection to FAOD. I had some time off and decided to spend a day helping out at Open Door. What I witnessed was amazing. Geralyn the Director ,Erika the Advocacy Director and their staff of volunteers treated all there clients with care and respect. they tried to met there needs love and kindness .
