PAN has allowed me to afford my medication to completely control my Chronic Lymphocitic Leukemia. I was diagnosed about 26 years ago, reaching treatment stage about 2 years ago.
My Oncologist tried several medicines, finally one was found my body could tolerate and kept my white blood cell count at normal level. Obviously, the medicine is extremely expensive and PAN stepped in to allow me to receive my medication. I am now at a maintenance level of medication. My Oncologist just told me: "Chuck, if I did not know your history I would not know you had leukemia." I am 80 years old. THANK YOU PAN FOUNDATION!! - Chuck Salzer.
