Day 1 Bags is an incredible organization that has helped many kids in the foster system. Our family has been involved since Fall of 2020. We actually heard the founder, Hunter Beaton speak at an event for 8th grade students in the Boerne area. The Dignity, not Trash slogan really says it all about what this organization does for kids. We have helped with everything from folding shirts, to stuff bags, to providing items to go in the bags. Keep up the great work for the children in our area that need you most and thank you for all you do!

This organization is near and dear to our hearts for many reasons. We are so proud of a local Boerne high school student who started it and even more proud that foster children across our area are able to be dignified in less than ideal circumstances. Keep up the great work!
