I have given these boxes to coworkers and friends who have experienced a pregnancy loss. In a time when they feel isolated and alone, this box is able to make them feel seen and validated. It is often misunderstood that these mothers and birthing parents are not postpartum because they do not having a living child in their arms. Aaliyah in Action reminds these parents that they can and should put themselves first and make self-care a priority in their most vulnerable time.
