Review for Operation Asha, Chicago, IL, USA
OpAsha innovatively uses existing infrastructure (hospitals, diagnostic centers, medicine warehouses), mostly public and sometimes private, and sets up centers in close proximity to affected communities. It often seeks the help of government TB control officers in identifying challenging slum areas.
