Review for Operation Asha, Chicago, IL, USA

Operation Asha do not openly proclaim to be working only for TB and are known widely as health workers. They also provide over-the-counter drugs (like painkillers, antacids and anti-emetics) and contraceptives. This adds tremendous value to OpAsha’s work and also provides “camouflage” because if our counsellors claimed to be working for TB alone, they may not be welcome because of associated stigmas.
