My wife and I were incredibly lucky to find an angel organization like TTFF in 2000 for assistance in helping our son who , at 2 years of age, was diagnosed with Celiac disease. There was little to no information or support for families in our predicament at that time in our history. When TTFF began the overnight camp for this condition they had already been helping kids with much more grave situations. But for any parent who has children who struggle to remain similar or the same as their classmates to avoid any sort of stigmatization the days were frustrating. TTFF created a safe haven and allowed my kid to just be a loose spirit. He attended camp every summer, became a junior counselor and finally a full blown staff and counselor. It was life changing and we are grateful every day. It’s a wonderful place and is annually a recipient of our donations.
