I have attended three (3) teaching workshops sponsored by the AMTA. The first of these were an epiphany! It completely changed how I thought about teaching and interacting with students. I saw this as based on some evidence gathered by people who understood science and the strengths / limitations of rigorous data collection. It has guided my thinking on teaching now for almost 15 years, and I would not go back.
