After teaching Chemistry for 20 years the thought does creep into your mind that there is nothing new and then I was introduced to Modeling instruction by AMTA. Their summer workshop transformed my teaching a breathed new life into my classes. When the time came for me to teach Physics, AMTA was the first thought I had. The summer workshop helped orient me to the content and prepare for a whole new direction of content. There is so much more though. In the subsequent years, the curriculum and support of fellow teachers through the listserv has been a real key to vibrant successful teaching on my part.
