I took my first modeling workshop after my 11th year of teaching and felt like I finally learned how to teach. The modeling method of instruction allows students to learn more than just physics; it teaches them communication skills, problem solving and independence, skills that will help them for the rest of their lives.
I’m grateful to the AMTA for the professional development and professional dialogue that continues to support me and bolster my teaching in new preps, using new technology, and through new challenges.
