Review for Invisible Disabilities Association, Parker, CO, USA

Rating: 5 stars

As an ambassador I have helped spread awareness not only about invisible disabilities but of the IDA. Hundreds of thousands of people live with invisible disabilities everyday and are misunderstood, accused of faking, denied accommodations, and some even shamed for things out of their control. The IDA works to help these people by bringing awareness to invisible disabilities and the conditions those with these disabilities have.
I have an invisible disability and because of this I need extra, time, easier accessibility, accommodations, and to be believed. By sharing my story I help spread awareness about those like my self and offer services to others to help as well. Through the IDA I have had amazing opportunities to help, connect, and share with others. These include podcasts, speeches, working with legislators, talking to students in schools, working with company resource groups, being a keynote speaker, and more. I couldn’t be more proud to be a part of the IDA and the difference they are making in this world.

I have an invisible disability and because of this I need extra, time, easier accessibility, accommodations, and to be believed. The IDA helps bring light to those like me. They not only help bring visibility and information to others but help bring better legislation to help us. After learning soo much about the IDA I couldn’t help but to get involved and support an organisation that actually cares and actively helps those in its community. I couldn’t be more proud to be an ambassador.
