I have been volunteering for Gardner's house for over 10 years now and they are one if not the only organization that looks at how the individual is affected by Cancer.
They have provided thousands of dollars in basic service such as grocery, transportation, helping with utilities and other services to families in CT.
The reason why I believe that they provide an essential service is because I have see first hand the benefits to those affected.
When all hope is gone after battling Cancer Gardner's House has been there to get families back on their feet.
I will continue to volunteer because I believe that they are making a difference especially in marginalized communities in CT.
