Review for WILD HORSE AND BURRO SANCTUARY, Shingletown, CA, USA
From my first visit, I was hooked. I discovered the Wild horse Sanctuary in the early 2000’s and have been a supporter and volunteer ever since. Their mission is to protect and preserve America's wild horses as a living national treasure by providing range sanctuary in an ecologically balanced environment open to the public. The founder and all-volunteer board truly live by this mission, providing a beautiful open range for the hundreds of wild horses that live out their life at the Wild Horse Sanctuary. They go above and beyond to not only provide a safe and natural environment for these beautiful creatures, but for the native wildlife that are losing habitat from urban sprawl and wildfires.
A visit to the WHS is a therapeutic treat. I have volunteered and been on many rides over the years, and I am always impressed with the passionate volunteers and care of the sanctuary and horses.
I am confident that my donations are used to provide a natural and sustainable environment for the horses that call this place home.
Thank you, Kim!
