I was invited as a guest to last years Gala a month after I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. The Gala happened to be the Saturday before my surgery so listening to everyone’s courageous journeys gave me hope. I actually reached out to one of the survivors, Dawn Kearns, after the event since her story was exactly what I was about to go through. Hearing and seeing the survivors was amazing as was the raffles and the atmosphere! Knowing it was all for a nonprofit was heartwarming! Hats off to an amazing organization!
