Ears to You has been so generous to the participants of The Gathering Place for years. The women LOVE getting a free pair of earrings. It makes what is usually a sad event - getting a wig - into one that they can smile about. Thank you for kindness over the years!

I appreciate this charity’s willingness to support cancer patients at their most vulnerable times. I’ve asked for help with friends experiencing a new cancer diagnosis as well as friends who have ongoing needs.
This is a truly great nonprofit organization.

I am honored to be on the Board of Directors for Ears To You. I do not know of a more giving non profit than they are. They send Wellness Wishes Boxes to anyone going through a hard time with a cancer diagnosis. They are partners with over 20 hospitals that give out earrings, hats and headscarves and books to patients during their treatment at these hospitals. They have one fundraiser a year that they receive funding for that sustains the giving of these items for one calendar year.

Not only do they honor incredible cancer survivors from all ages, races, walks of life, and cancers, but they also raise funds to help put a smile on the faces of those in treatment.

The event is incredible and brings together so many incredible people for one night.

I’ve attended a number of fundraisers for Ears To You and I am always impressed how they bring their mission of spreading joy and hope to cancer patients all over Northeast Ohio! I’ve seen their recipients share their stories of appreciation for the importantance of happy moments amid a personal crisis. I’m so happy and honored to support such an amazing organization!

I am a social worker at an outpatient cancer center where patients receive chemotherapy. Patients have many side effects to cope with but for women the thought of total hair loss is devastating. They are so appreciative and happy when I provide them a beautiful scarf from Ears to You. They usually ask who makes these scarves for total strangers and ask for nothing in return. This is a wonderful organization brightening the lives of women every day.

Last year I was contacted by Ears to you to be an honoree for 2022. Having breast cancer, I just went through the most difficult time of my life Being an honoree for Ears to you was so uplifting for me. and couldn't have come at a better time. This non profit is top notch, the kindness shown to me by this organization is unmatched. After the devastation of surgery, recovery and all the emotions that go along with it, ears to you gave me hope and strength to keep fighting the fight against cancer.

Amazing organization that goes above and beyond to serve those going through cancer whether it’s a word of encouragement, smile or hug the goal is to lift others UP! We ALL need each other, in good as well as challenging times. The amount of hard work and energy Ruth has put into Ears To You is incomparable. Everyday she strives towards bringing cancer patients a moment of joy and hope through giving of earrings, hats, and headscarves. Being a cancer survivor herself, Ruth knows the challenges of battling cancer and how any moment of joy can lift your spirit and give you hope.

I am the Director for Ears To You and have been on the board since the inception of this amazing non profit. I have the honor at some of our hospital fundraisers to gift the earrings directly to the patients and see the joy and hope in their eyes. It is truly something small that makes a big impact on a patient at time of treatment. Ruth Crane , Ears To You Founder is a survivor herself so when the patients hear her survivor story they have something to hope for and relate too. I am honored to be part of Ears To You and know that we will continue to touch peoples lives during their cancer journey for many more years to come.

Our patients have loved the hats and earrings donated by Ears to You. These have really made a difference in bringing joy to patients as they start chemotherapy and adjust to the physical changes that this brings.

Ears to You does an amazing job of supporting and helping those battling cancer! Ruth Crane’s nonprofit is inspiring and a vital part of recovery for those who depend on her! It provides patients an opportunity to feel amazing about themselves while conquering this mountain.

I've been blessed to have had the opportunity to support Ruth and Ears To You for several years. Ears to You fulfills its mission by supporting cancer patients through their individual and unique journeys. Ruth and her dedicated team perform a much needed service during patient treatment, and they do it with class and respect.

Ears to you donates scarves, hats and earrings to our Oncology patients. Our patients love to look through the scarves and earrings during there chemotherapy treatments. They are so appreciative of receiving these beautiful, already tied, scarves and earrings as a comfort during this very difficult time in their lives. The smile I have seen on so many faces and the comfort these gifts bring are amazing. We have so much fun with the scarves and earrings in our infusion center and it is so great to have such a wonderful organization donate these gifts to our patients.

I have worked with Ruth Crane and her non-profit since its inception. I can truly tell you not only is she inspiring but what she does helps cancer patients feel better about themselves. When a newly diagnosed cancer patient gets a pair of earrings or a special scarf, they feel special that someone understands what they are going through and cares enough to provide these items at no charge. It is an honor to be able to provide these resources to our patients and is one of the most worthwhile non-profits that I have ever seen.

Ears to you has brought so much joy to our patients here at Cooper Pavilion. It is challenging to undergo cancer itself, but with hair loss and not feeling "quite yourself", it is a blessing to be able to provide a beautiful scarf or hat and earrings to brighten the day. Ears to you also helps us with our Holiday celebration, Simply You. It is a free make up program for patients experiencing hair loss, eye brow and eye lash loss, skin tone change and nail changes. Each participant can choose a festive holiday scarf, hat and earrings. Ears to You makes a huge difference in our patients lives.

Ears To You has been an amazing organization. I am a friend of an outpatient Chemotherapy Nurse, and they brought tons of earrings to their patients! Ears to You is an outstanding organization, and they have helped so many people!

I love bringing hope and joy through Ears To You as a Board Member! As a cancer survivor, I wear my earrings from Ears to You daily to remind me I am a survivor!

I joined the nonprofit Board of Directors of "Ears to You" this past summer because I believe strongly in their mission and the women behind this incredible organization. I have know the founder, Ruth Crane, for many years and have seen her successfully battle cancer. It is truly inspirational that she is willing to give so freely of her time and expertise in order to brighten the lives of other women undergoing cancer treatments.

Ears to you has provided the patients with cancer that I care for a reason to smile and feel pretty. It is so devastating for women to lose their hair, have their body image altered and feel they are no longer themselves. ears to you gives us the opportunity to provide them with their choice of a pair of earrings. It brings a smile to their face, lifts their spirits and gives them a special touch of femininity.

I have the privilege of seeing Ears to You make a difference in the lives of women battling cancer. This non profit provides earrings to women who have been diagnosed with cancer. It seems like such a simple concept, but the hope and joy this pair of earrings provides to women is truly amazing!

This program has been a Godsend to my patients. Just to see their faces light up when given such a simple gift as a pair of earrings is priceless. The most impactful time is when the ladies hair falls out from the chemotheraphy. It gives them a much needed boost to their self esteem. I do not have all the words to express how grateful I am to be a part of such an oustanding organization.

I have personally seen Ears to You make a difference in a friend's life. The simple donation of giving a patient the opportunity to choose a pair of earrings out of a beautiful collection while undergoing her chemotherapy treatment absolutely made her feel like a queen. The earrings helped to remind her that although she was losing her hair, becoming ruddy with her complexion, watching her face swell up from the support drugs, and surviving the physical care throughout her mastectomy procedure, she could take a small item and feel beautiful again. She was fascinated by the smiles brought to the faces of those women experiencing the same anguish through their fight against cancer which brought a sense of hope and peace to her as well, almost as if they were in their own little club, joined by Ears to You. Thank you Ears to You for having the wholistic sense to heal those often forgotten feelings through a woman's battle with cancer.

Ruth Crane,the founder and a cancer survivor herself,is my niece, and I cannot express how proud of her I am.
She saw through her own pain and thought of others and started this amazing nonprofit movement to help others.
Blessings come in many ways and Ruth has truly been a blessing to a lot of people.

Every day I work with women with breast cancer who undergo chemotherapy. Most will lose their hair in addition to other changes and the earrings offer hope and send a positive message to those just starting this journey. When these women know this program was started by a survivor it is more meaningful. The program brings a smile and is a wonderful. I feel blessed that I can offer such a wonderful gift.

Ears To You has been a genuine blessing to my patients. I am an outpatient Chemotherapy Nurse. ETY brought us 96 pairs of earrings to offer to our female patients whenever they need a pick-me-up (especially as their hair is lost due to chemotherapy). We have offered the earrings for far more than that...we celebrate Anniversaries and Birthdays with a gift of earrings...as well as offered them to wives of male patients stuck in our unit on Valentine's day "to help them shop" ;-) We even added a pair to the ears of a Triumphant Teddy Bear (given to patients upon graduating from chemo, dressed to fit their personality...the earrings another gift for the survivor). The smiles are priceless, the relief on the males' faces in that they were able to give their caregiving wives a Valentine gift, irreplaceable. Ears To You blesses me in that I feel I have a positive gift to offer amidst their battle. Thank you, and God Bless you, Ears to You! We so appreciate you...and all those who support your efforts!

Ears To You is a wonderful organization and a brilliant concept where a woman can buy great quality earrings for a low price and the money that is spent helps to fund earrings that are given to women free during chemotherapy for any type of cancer.

A great concept where you can wear a pair and give a pair. It is a creative way in helping to lift the spirits of women during chemo and ease their anxiety.

Another great option is anyone can donate earrings to Ears To You, so if you don't want to purchase a pair of earrings or provide a monetary donation and are creative yourself, you can make a pair(s) which is an innovative way to give back!

Great organization, should be a part of all cancer units at hospitals across the country!!
