Review for Rescue Me Ga Inc, Atlanta, GA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

We got our girl Hannah from RMG and they were very thorough with the screening process to ensure that we would be her forever home. They told us she was special needs and we discussed how we as her adoptive family were able to meet those needs.

They are very friendly and inviting people so the day we finally got to meet our girl was awesome. They exceeded our expectations and the meeting went so well we got to take our girl her home.

They were confident we were the right home for her and we were confident she was the right dog for us. They gave us a bag with so many goodies for her and a blanket that she had used there that she still has too this day.

They were right, we needed this girl as much as she needed us. She is perfect for us. They did a great job matching us up perfectly.

We had a few hiccups with Hannah. She had a few quirks we were not sure how to help her with. So when we reached out to RMG they got us in touch with an amazing trainer who was not in the area at that moment, but called us to talk us through some options to help Hannah. He was on the phone for over an hour and three days later we had Hannah’s behavior under control. He stayed in touch for a while via text to ensure we had it covered. It not only helped Hannah, but also made us more confident as her family, knowing we were doing right by her.

Today, we are still in touch regularly. We are in the RGM families group and even found some of her siblings. We send pictures every so often to let them know how she is doing and we always get a response back from them. We have been told multiple times that a silly picture of Hannah or other dogs in their new homes provides a smile to them on hard days.

We still follow and support them. They are amazing people that always, somehow seem to make room for a dog in dire need even though foster homes are full and vet bills stack up trying to help those who can’t help themselves.

They are a voice for those who don’t have one. They advocate for the underdogs, they take the ones that no one else will take because they are “undesirable” or need major medical procedures.

They work tirelessly to save dogs from death. They transport, provide medical care, do fundraisers for vet bills and food, care for the animals, guide foster homes, do training, and do everything that has to do with successful adoptions. The list is never ending, and they never stop loving, caring and helping.

They don’t give up on any of them, ever. They place them in amazing homes and make sure they are in good health and condition before they do and follow up to make sure the adoption was successful.
They are amazing people, and love those that needs them the most more than anyone.

We are forever grateful for our Hannah girl, and I am pretty sure this is not the last time we adopted from this awesome rescue!

Sincerely,
The Johnson family
