Money Talks Edu is a great organization! From the first time Ms. Evans and I spoke. I knew this was something I wanted to be apart of. Financial literacy was something that I did not have a clue about when I was playing professional football. I seen so many men of color who also lacked the knowledge of financial literacy and needless to say we all have a story of two of how the lack of affected us in one way or another. Understanding that paying it forward is a must, I jumped on the opportunity to support and join the Money Talk Team as Vice President. My goal is to help educate young men and woman on the importance of financial literacy and what that actually means when it comes to handling your finances. When I have the opportunity to share my financial mishaps to the youth it helps them to avoid my mistakes in the future. Our goal is to have our curriculum in schools across America because it’s very important that student in the many of the under privileged area in America will one day have finances if their own to manage.
