Accessia Health has been a life saver to me. I have Fabry Disease and require Enzyme Replacement Therapy every 10 days and will need to do so for the rest of my life. This therapy helps subside symptoms of the disease and keeps the progression of the disease. Fabry attacks many different systems of the body, requiring me to see numerous specialists on a continual basis. Many of my specialists are in a major city almost two hours away. Accessia Health has assisted me with travel expenses, hotel expenses when I’ve had to spend the night due to testing, co-pays, and my expensive drug that costs almost $24,000 every ten days. My insurance will pick up some of the costs but not all of them. They help pick up what my insurance doesn’t. They also pay the premiums for my supplemental health insurance. Being on SSI and a pension that was minimized because I had to retire early put me on a limited income. The assistance they provide is appreciated beyond words. Any person that I have spoken with has been pleasant, personable, and extremely helpful. I don’t know what I would do without Accessia Health.
