Review for The Jonah Project, El Segundo, CA, USA
I first encountered the Jonah Project 4years ago. I was in the process of going into full time ministry. Trying to figure out what the meant, when God brought me to Patrick. He showed me what it meant to lay down ones life, take up the cross and follow Jesus. I saw a family that had latterly packed up their bags, left their business in Detroit and moved to California because God had called them to. I met a family that was walking by faith, living on what the Lord provided, giving everything to ministry. It's hard to go to church after having encountered the Jonah Project. Because they make it real. I believe I have seen the real Jesus at work down on skid row. The Jonah Project continues to inspire me, to challenge me. I am eternally grateful for the example they have set

I have seen many lives changed through this ministry. I would say the biggest impact is to the believers that come down to help out and find out that maybe they weren't saved themselves. Church members get saved down on skid row. You can't help but get impacted when you allow your self to be used of God. Skid row will pull you into the ministry, or send you running

not dare to. These people answer to God. They don't need my suggestions.
