Review for CenterLink: The Community of LGBT Centers, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, USA
CenterLink is one of the most effective national LGBT focused organizations. For such a small staff and budget, the organization impacts thousands of people by supplying technical support and capacity assistance to LGBT community centers both in the U.S. and internationally. In cities large and small, the community centers are often the first point of resource for individuals seeking community. Many of these community centers are largely volunteer run and CenterLink offers expertise and training for staff and board members. Without this organization, many centers and their leaders would feel they face the world "alone" and their non-profit growing pains are unique. As a former Center E.D., this organization gave me a sense of comradery and the opportunity to rub shoulders with those far more experienced. I've been proud to serve on this organization's board of directors for the past five years.

Offer more and more frequent progams that would insure the long time viability and the growth of LGBT Community Centers.
