Living in the aftermath of losing my only child to suicide is extremely challenging. It’s a time when tender loving care and support is needed more than ever to keep a parent getting from one day to the next and the administrators of this community rise to that occasion. They were the only group I am involved in who remembered my son and myself on the anniversary of my son’s death. They didn’t ask me for money, they didn’t ask me to volunteer they just cared. This has not been my experience anywhere else in my grief journey.
