Their distributions and deliveries are run by folks who genuinely care for the communities that they serve, and the community partners who depend on them day in, day out to extend the reach of their own services. For some in the community, pets are a vital part of their lives. When you're not making ends meet easily, people should not have to choose between feeding themselves and their animals. But the honest truth is that many in need would often choose to feed their animals over themselves or even remain unsheltered so that they can remain with their companion animals. We at Ohlone Humane Society as an animal welfare nonprofit find TCV to be compassionate, collaborative, and universal in its approach to helping alleviate need and providing choice.
