I am so grateful for Jameson Humane. My kids and I are welcome! We volunteer by socializing cats as a family. What a gift Jameson has given my children in allowing them to feel responsible and able! My five and eight-year-olds learn valuable life lessons while having fun. Saying goodbye to a beloved cat who went to her fur-ever home, finally making a friend with a very shy feline, and discovering that a new senior arrival still has some kitten-like play in him are just a few sweet moments we cherish.

Everyone at Jameson is so helpful and caring. If it’s the founder herself, a seasoned employee, or a volunteer in another animal care area, people answer questions and look out for each other. This is a place where my children feel empowered and heard. I appreciate that.

Jameson works in the community WITH other non-profits in the community. Where I used to live, I was so disappointed since certain animal rescues wouldn’t work with other ones because they didn’t like how they did this or that. Understandably, we all have different values, but Jameson looks beyond grudges and small differences for the greater good for the animals and their people!

With fire season eerily getting longer, Jameson looks out for its animals and volunteers. They are equipped to evacuate and have cared for their fosters and volunteers displaced by the fires, too.

Jameson loves its animals and their people. I’m proud that we’re a small part of the great things Jameson Humane accomplishes.
