I consider myself extremely fortunate to be a member of Assistance League of the Eastside. For almost 7 years now, I have had the opportunity to help people in my local community when they need support the most! Whether it be one of 3,000 students in need of new shoes, a family that needs groceries, a shelter resident in need of a homecooked meal or an assault survivor needing new clothing to wear because their clothing has been turned over to the police for evidence. I can and have given all this support through this member-driven organization! How blessed am I!
