FemArt Gallery came into my life at the perfect time. Being an artist and being a woman have been challenging over the years, but FemArt has brought the artist and the woman together for a pleasant experience. Kim Miller's persistence has paid off with being a part of a beautiful space in Jacksonville. She has a great team to help promote women in the visual arts. The most recent exhibition called "The Artist's Inner Journey" challenged me to explore a painful experience through an art therapy type perspective. The journey resulted in a nice piece of artwork, resolve and a message to all women who may feel broken. "Fractured, Not Shattered". FemArt encourages women to express themselves and to become a part of a group of creatives.
