My son has been a part of U&I ever since its inception. It has helped him in multiple ways. First and foremost it inculcates a sense of responsibility in the kids towards the community. The vast array of programs and volunteer opportunities it provides for kids of all ages from elementary to high school and beyond is impressive. I have been amazed at how enthusiastic and involved the kids are in all the projects. It is truly a youth driven organization. My son has learnt and grown so much as an individual through volunteering in the various food , toy and clothing drives, helping with community gardening activities etc. He has learnt be a good team member and a leader. The entire team of U & I including the organizers and the parent volunteers are passionate and dedicated about what they do. I am proud that me and my kids are part of this wonderful organization and would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to serve the community.
