Beyond just healing horses, so many people that are part of STAHR have stories of what they’ve overcome by working here. We’re all from different backgrounds and experience levels but every horse is well cared for. It’s such a beautiful thing to see how a horse can transform with proper care. Some of these animals have such unspeakable pasts and Vickie’s experience is such a value to bring them back to health. I’m so grateful to be able to learn from her and the other more experienced volunteers.
