My first visit to the Gentle Barn was many years ago for a preschool field trip. It was wonderful to see how the children reacted to the love shown by the animals. Working with young children with autism it was very touching to see the children and the animals compassionately connect and communicate. Having discovered more about the Gentle Barn’s mission and purpose, I continue to visit as often as possible, and support in whatever manner I am able.
